enforcement and fire department. >> oakland police will hold a news conference to talk more about this weekend's sideshows and to give more details on the officer involved shooting. in the newsroom, lilian kim, abc7 news. >> lilian, thank you. now to the latest on the terrorist attack in paris. the french air force dropped 20 bombs in northern syria destroying an isis training camp and a munitions dump. the extremist group claimed responsibility for friday's attack that left 129 people dead. there is also an international manhunt right now for this man. police believe he is one of the gunmen on the run. people in paris are, of course, still on edge. david ono from our sister station in l.a. is there and reports people panicked after someone set off fireworks as an apparent prank. >> this is what terror looks like.
11:04 pm
just moments before i was in a cab and driving by the plaza de republic, the very place where the firecrackers were set off. the driver told me how busy he has been. people aren't taking the metro or the subway in paris because they are fearful it will be bombed so they are taking cabs and then we see people running, crying, screaming something. >> did she say they are shooting? >> he is frightened and telling me we need to go. back at the scene it was just a prank, but police were telling people to get out. in the cab we see police cars scrambling, but still didn't feel right so i tried to calm him down. >> maybe it is a misunderstanding. >> she said go home. go home. >> he stopped to ask people what they know. they say there has been a shooting.

11:06 pm
and the citizens of paris will try to get their lives back. reporting from paris, david ono, abc7 news. and sergio is live at san francisco city hall where hundreds showed up for a day of remembrance. sergio? >> as you saw there is a lot of panic on the streets of paris. there is a public order in affect until thursday baring large groups of people from gathering as a security precaution. that's one of the reasons why one of today's organizers said it was important to have a big show of people here on the streets of san francisco city hall. in paris there are still fears so this gathering on the steps of san francisco city hall is an important show of solidarity. >> there are terrorists out there in france and around. definitely not want to have a
