people from using the waiver program if they have been in syria or iraq in the past five areas. >> we certainly have a lot of news happening at low-to-mid and sad news from napa county. officials found a body this morning while looking for a jet skier who disappeared last night. amy hollyfield joins us with the developments. amy? >> i just got off the phone with the sheriff and they have confirmed they found the body of the 48-year-old woman missing last night. look behind me and seat bridge, they are looking into the possibility she ran into the bridge. officials say that 48-year-old woman was driving it at night. i will show you the video from the search last night and you can see how dark it was. so dark they could not even find her and she was jet skiing in the darkness with officials say you are not supposed to do. she set out from her home at 8 8:15 and did not have far to go

a friend was driving the trailer and her husband reported her missing around 10:00. >> the victim lived on the river. the report is they were pulling a couple of jet skis out of water and they had transported one of the jet skis to the resort where they would trailer it. and they were taking -- she decided to take her jet ski and bring it up here to trailer it, as well. >> they do not know why she was doing this at night. deputies headed out this morning when a body was discovered from above in a him corporate the body was recovered and her family was notified they found her this morning. she lived with her husband and a couple of roommates here along the napa river. thank you, three drifters accused of killing a bay area yoga teacher and canadian

tourist pleaded not guilty. the 18-year-old lyle and 24 year old sean michael angold and 23-year-old morrison haze lampley were all in court this morning. they are accused of shooting and killing a woman at the golden gate park and then they killed seven carter walking his dog. they could face the death penalty if convicted. they due in court next may. >> a hotel has been determined to be safe after some scary moments early this morning. the courtyard marriott at wood view avenue was evacuated when someone reported smoke in the poolroom. that smoke has since cleared and a crew checked it out and found business as usual and the firefighters said no one was hurt. >> business travelers to silicon valley are excited about an announcement in the past couple of hours that san jose international airport will start offering another new international destination. our reporter, matt keller is at san jose city hall with the

scoop. matt? >> this is the biggest city in the bay area and this area is also home to the biggest tech companies around the world. however, people from here still have to make that terrible commute to sfo because their choices here in san jose are limited. that is changing. san jose's international flight schedule is taking off, just this year the airport announced it had nonstop flights to frankfurt, beijing and london. today, air canada is joining the crew. >> we are launching service from san jose to vancouver twice each day. >> silicon valley's airport is always lived in the shadow of the bigger sfo and last area the airports of the north had 95 percent of international flight passengers in the bay area. with so machine people in international companies in the san jose area, expanding nights to other cups makes sense to travelers. there is so much municipality in the valley and so pan limits international options in terms of carriers i thought it would

authorities in southern california say an off-duty police officer shot and killed last night was targeted. two men shot and killed the officer gomez as he sat in the personal vehicle in the station parking lot just after 11

o'clock last night. he was not in uniform. now, this morning authorities took three people into custody in a finish by city and looking for another suspect. he was a five-year veteran of the police department and a former marine. >> new this morning, former subway pitch man jarrod fogel is going to prison for 16 years on sex crime charges. cameras captured him walking into the indianapolis courthouse this morning plead guilty to receiving child pornography and in the last hour a judge handed done his sentence, 15 1/2 years in prison. he apologized to the court saying he regrets the actions that destroyed his career and harmed his victims facing between 5 and 15 years in prison. >> the food and drug administration announced they will allow modified salmon to be sold, the first creature approved for human consumption.

>> santa clara, san francisco, east bay, and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. hoverboards are the hottest gifts this holiday season with celebrities showing them off on social media but there are concerns about safety. the consumer products safety mission said that it has done eight reports of emergency loom injuries related to the boards. a woman tore the ligaments in her last ankle trying to get off the hoverboard. >> it almost runs you over if you step off the front. that is really dangerous way to do it. >> we are seeing injuries

haze. it is a bull picture heading over on the calm waters to take a tour of alcatraz and that is a great time. it is a fascinating time. few are clouds, mild highs, pattern holds through the weekend and blustery and chilly and wet next week. today, down in gilroy, 71 degrees, and santa cruz is 69 and everyone else is around 67 to 69 degrees also in the south bay and santa clara valley. as we heads-up the peninsula, 68 at los altos and millbrae is coolest at 65 and around 60 elsewhere up and down the coast and through the san bruno gap and south san francisco, 65. head to brisbane and downtown, sausalito, tiburon, all around 65 or 66 degrees. we have 70s at petaluma, napa, calistoga and sonoma is warmest at 73. cool on the east bay shoreline and oakland is 68 and castro valley and fremont, and newark is 69 and inland, upper 60 and some 70s around antioch and livermore and brentwood.

now, the temperatures tonight, did the heater run last night? if not do not expect it to run tonight, either, one of the byproducts of the weather, our solar panels are getting all the sun they can handle and we have mid-40s to mid-50s so not much heater. the high pressure pushes the storm tram to the north and bringing the warmest day today and tomorrow and saturday. in the sierra, still snow but freezing cold at night and they still have the snow. here is a look at our rain, and notice the rainfall totals are down considerably. maybe .1" to .25" and here is what to expect, showers arrive on wednesday. wet and icy roads, with my seven showing it will be warmer-than-average through sunday, and tuesday we are back closer to average and wednesday,
