in the north bay. once again, we will see highs in the mid 70s. subtle changes for the second half of your weekend. great to get outdoor activities taken care of before the cool and possible showers head our way next week. turkish officials have arrested three people with suspected ties to isis in last week's terrorist attacks in paris, france. 26-year-old ahmet dahmani is a belgium national and moroccan descent, officials say he scattered for the attack. two other suspects, ahmet tamir and mohammad verd are syrian nationals. they were arrested after traveling from syria to meet dahmani. authorities believe they were going to help him move to syria. as we just mentioned dahmani is a belgium national, the country of belgium has raised its terror alert to the highest level. here is a look at brussels, they are nine hours ahead of us, it is facing what officials call a,

quote, imminent threat. citizens are being told to take drastic actions including avoiding crowded areas like concerts and airports. the new alert was announced as police continue to search for this man, is a la abdeslam. he is one of the paris attackers on the run. abdeslam was last seen driving toward the belgium border. >> that explosive blast happened tuesday during the police raid outside of paris. it is -- it was originally believed a woman named hasna aitboulahcen detonated a suicide vest in the apartment of the terror attack suspects but authorities now say it was a man standing in ex to her who set off the device. they also say that they found a third body in that apartment where the raid took place. eight days after the attacks memorials cover the sidewalks outside the restaurants where gunmen opened fire on the diners. this is where you can see

flowers, candles, notes and drawings left in honor of the victims. be sure to stay with abc 7 news for the latest on the paris attacks as always you can get greek updates by downloading our abc 7 news app and enabling the push notifications. terror struck africa yesterday when gunmen took 170 people hostage at the radisson blu hotel in mali. here is the latest information. mali forces are hunting for more than three suspects in the attack that left at least 27 people dead including an american mom are family in san francisco. a chinese state owned company says three of its senior executives are among those who were killed and mali state television reports a ten-day state of emergency has been declared. the attack happened in the country's capital of businessman c -- ba ma'am co. heavily armed men stormed into the building and took hostages. that set off a seven-hour stand off before security forces moved in and freed most of the

hostages. an extremist group is claiming responsibility for the attack. here is a picture of the american that was killed, the victim has been identified as 41-year-old anita datar. she leaves behind an elementary school aged son. datar's brother lives in san francisco and from her social media account it appears that she also spent some time here in the bay area. mali is one of the poorest countries in the world with great need for better healthcare which is what she was trying to help address. renly aqui has more. >> reporter: anita datar was in mali to do good when people bent on hurting the innocent took her life. >> we are devastated by the loss of our wonderful daughter who is doing the work she loves. >> reporter: a former peace corps member she was the mother of a young boy and had family in the bay area. they declined to comment. datar was working in washington, d.c., a founding board member of a nonprofit whose aim is to help women around the world get healthcare.

she is now among the dozens dead after an attack on a hotel in the capital city of bamako. >> i saw on the floor bullets. >> reporter: these images of terror what we now associate with the west african country of mali. when jessica beck err man thinks of mali she sees a different picture. >> i got to deliver her little brother. >> reporter: her husband only ten miles from the hotel militants attacks. they founded project muso. >> it's been a hard day and it's been devastating where all of us. >> reporter: jessica's husband and their colleagues are safe. they mourn for those like anita datar who didn't make it. they will not be deterred. too many faces they say depend on it. reggie aqui, abc 7.news. to developing news out of oakland this morning, two men are referring after their car went over an embankment.

it happened after 11:00 last night near the is that bow space and science center. crews rescued the men trapped inside the car, you can see firefighters pulling them up. officials say both of their injuries are not life-threatening but one person is in serious condition with a broken leg. big game weekend ask here and it comes as police at uc berkeley put out a frightening alert about an incident that happened on campus thursday night. lawyer la anthony explains. >> i do carry pepper spray with me. >> reporter: women at uc berkeley will being extra careful after reports that a female student was kidnapped from campus and sexual assaulted. >> he was she was abducted on the central campus of the school and driven to an unknown location and sexual assaulted. >> reporter: police are giving few details, no suspects or car description except to say the victim said she was abducted at 6:00 p.m. thursday. the report was made to uc

berkeley police nearly seven hours later at 2:45 friday morning. rach al that you have sales she carries pepper spray and does walk alone sometimes but only in certain areas. >> i tend to stick to more mainstream places where i know there is going to be a lot of traffic. >> i always call bear walk if i'm talk walking alone past 11:00. >> reporter: uc police say this is the seventh sexual assault this year, up a bit from last year. in berkeley, laura anthony, abc 7 news. this morning a 16-year-old boy from berkeley remains in critical condition after being beaten on the street earlier this he can would. the victim's mother tells abc 7 news that her son was the victim of bullying. she says police arrested six suspects, four adults and two minors in connection with the attack but for some reason the adults were released three days later. police won't say if the minors that were arrested were let go as well. the victim's mother says her son witnessed an earlier fight and

was bullied by some of the people who were fighting. >> he was asked to choose a side to be on and he was like i'm not choosing a side because i'm not in this. i don't know, you know, what you want me to do, but i'm friends with everybody. >> the teen suffered severe brain trauma. berkeley police say the case still under investigation. a man is accused of ripping a two-year-old boy away from his mother on a san francisco muni bus. police say it happened tuesday morning at sun sum and washington streets. the frantic mother ran after the man was was able to pull her son back to safety. investigators say it is rare to see such a bold act. >> mostly it dealt more with family disputes, either a relative or, you know, it was a husband and wife incident, but not from a complete stranger who decided they wanted to randomly take especially a two-year-old child at that age right in front of his mother.

the family of a berkeley man shot and killed outside an oakland nightclub in april intends to take legal action against the club on monday. 26-year-old a meal joe nevarez was fatally shot early on easter morning, an innocent bystander of a gunman who is still on the loose. emilio's mother sat down with mel any woodrow. >> reporter: holidays have a in you meaning for the valadez family. on easter sunday bernadette valadez was waiting for her son's call, instead oakland pd called. they told her her son and shot and killed. >> why today of all days? so i -- at that point i got the ham and i threw it in the garbage. >> reporter: 26-year-old emilio

in the bay area was put on hold because of the drought. abc 7 news was at uc berkeley for the big game tri-valley with thousands of students. this year the state and campus fire marshal's office decided a burning structure would pose too great a risk to the berkeley hills so the bonfire was canned ld and moved to edwards stadium. the big game between cal and stanford is tonight at 7:30 on espn. lisa argen is here now. it's all about i'm pro surprising things when dealing with this drought. >> today we are looking at temperatures too warm for november with 60s and 70s yesterday. the weekend will be bringing us much of the same, although high pressure fair weather maker slowly fading away and weakening. in the short term it's here and we've got an aversion in some sports where we are looking at a

little fog, reduced visibility in the north bay. along the coast yesterday we had that surge of fog. today just some subtle changes. 5 mile visibility by the delta, things have improved dramatically in the north bay and even at the coast. look at san jose. parts of san jose a quarter auto mile visibility. tons of sun out there. from our sutro tower camera look at these temperatures. already in the 50s, half-moon bay, yeah, check that out, with very little wind and that sun even with that low sun angle we've bumped up considerably in the past couple of hours. we do have much, much colder weather on the way, we will get to that in a moment. 54 oakland, mt. tam featuring some of that haze at the surface where numbers in the valleys are a little cooler, in in the 40s, but this is what you would expect, 42 novato, 41 santa rosa, livermore 49. check in out, this is an inversion, the cold air trapped at the surface in lake tahoe,

you can see some of the snowy peaks, temperatures in the 20s and 30s right now, highs in the 50s today but by the middle of the week, say tuesday, just highs in the 20s in the mountains with some sierra snow headed your way. so patchy coastal fog, mild afternoon, much, much colder beginning tuesday. slight chance of showers on tuesday into wednesday. thanksgiving looks relatively dry with high pressure to our east and west, it's a fair weather maker, a summer like pattern and deflecting this storm system to the north so it stays very spring like and this area of low pressure that will dive down to the south come late monday and tuesday is sliding to the east of us. that is bringing the cold air but not a lot of moisture. the coldest air of the season on its way. it will drop us below freezing for several days i will give you an indication how cold it's going to be. this morning waking up to the 40s in the livermore valley.

by wednesday into the 30s. we haven't seen that yet. how about below freezing thursday for turkey day, friday and saturday not much modification, but we could see a little more rain by the end of next weekend, but you can see that here on this panel, this is san francisco, precipitation chances with your best coming in on wednesday. light amounts if we see anything around the rest of the bay area as well, anywhere from a tenth to maybe two tenths. highs today once again answer where from 5, 10, 15 degrees above average with low to mid 70s. tonight stanford yale temperatures mind 65 degrees at 7:30. the accuweather seven-day forecast mild until we see that cool down on monday, maybe a shower and chilly numbers through the holiday weekend. you can see what's hoping up on live doppler 7 hd with the app. we have more information at abc7news.com/apps. >> so no snuggees needed at stanford stadium tonight.
