gallery. you can see the moment it began. the music stopping. gunfire. >> people were playing dead and i was so scared. so many people would leave their friends. and so many people put themselves in front of people. >> in an upcoming exclusive interview with vice news, lead singer jesse hughes recounting the dressing room. >> several people hid in our dressing room and the killers were able to get in and killed everyone except a kid hiding under my leather jacket. >> nick alexander was shot and killed but no band members were killed. the only attacker not to die in the citywide siege passed through multiple police checkpoints in the hours after the attacks. picked up by friends, he begged to take him to brussels. the tone for one of them telling abc news said one was picked up after the attacks ended.

on the drive they noticed what they noticed may have been a suicide vest beneath a large coat but they managed to breeze through three separate police check points. he told other friends he was terrified of isis retribution because he didn't blow himself up like most paris attackers. one of those attackers, his younger brother, who detonated his vest outside during a france germany friendly match and fans hearing the explosion. this morning the french defense minister saying the only way to defeat isis is with boots on the ground. he added the french aircraft carrier will arrive right off the coast of syria tomorrow. it means we could see both u.s. and french troops fighting isis. agbc news, paris. >> president obama is in malaysia and spoke at the east asian summit about fighting terrorists about future attacks.

shooting his estranged wife late friday night. he approached her at her home. she tried to drive away but he shot her in the chest and then ran off. the couple recently separated. police say he threatened her just days before. she is expected to survive. antioch police are on the lookout for gunmen who shot three people. they killed one and injured two. it happened about 9:00 last night on sycamore drive. the man who died is an 18-year-old from pittsburgh. the others are both men, one 18-year-old from antioch and the other a 20-year-old from pittsburgh. investigators are interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. san jose police are investigating a deadly collision involving a bicyclist and a car last night. it happened around 7:45 on monterey highway and lewis road when a mercedes-benz hit the bicyclist. crews rushed him to the hospital where he died.

police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role for the driver but they suspect the bicyclist may have been drinking. in san francisco an out of control pickup truck hit and killed a woman walking along lake merced yesterday afternoon. police say the driver jumped the curve and went up on to the walking path, hitting the woman. the truck ended up in a ditch. the woman driving it went to the hospital. police are looking into the possibility that the brakes failed. >> developing news out of contra costa county this morning. three people have been arrested after allegedly kidnapping a woman yesterday in martinez around are a:00 p.m. police say a person saw three men force a woman into a car near pocheko boulevard and vine street. the witness was able to get the car's license plate number. deputies found the car, arrested the three men. the woman was not hurt.

well, you won't see colin kaepernick play quarterback again for the 49ers this season. some football insiders believe he might be done wearing red and gold. he had already lost his starting job to blaine gabbert. now he said he hurt his left the nonthrowing shoulder against green bay last month. he's due to have surgery tuesday. abc7 news was at levi's stadium where fans reacted to the news. >> time for him to go. he hasn't done anything in the first four, five games. >> i'm not a huge fan. you know, if anyone should be on injured reserve, maybe york. >> the timing is interesting. kaepernick's nearly $12 million deal will be guaranteed if he's on the 49ers roster in april and ready to play or not. last night stanford kept their pac-12 hopes alive,

>> welcome back. this is a live look from our sutro tower camera showing you the beauty of the bay. mild temperatures today but big changes in store. lease arm along shortly with the full accuweather forecast. >> happening today, a commemoration of life for a teacher and writer who was shot and killed in the huckleberry reserve nearly a year ago. police say two men robbed and shot 60-year-old david renzel last year on november 25th. the killers are still at large. a $25,000 reward is offered for information leading to their arrest. renzel's family will speak at the service this morning.

it begins at 11:00 at our lady of the lord's catholic church church in oakland. >> and also a service for a legendary burlesque and topless dancer carroll dota. ed dota put san francisco's north beech on the map as a red light district in the 1960's. she was one of the nation's first topless dancers of that era and made the condor club famous. dota died of kidney failure. she was 78 years old. the service starts at 7:00 tonight. >> another blow to the dungeness crab season, and it will likely hit your wallet. two more states postponed the crab season due to the toxic algae outbreak. abc7 news reporter katie tells us what is means for a holiday tradition. >> hope for a healthy dungeness crab season is fading faster than the sun. the fishing boats puttered into

port with the captain said the delay of the bay area season is devastating. >> i don't have any money, i don't have any income. >> for third generation fishermen john miller, two-thirds of his yearly income is made during the dungeness harvest. but a large algae bloom has caused crabs to test high for an acid that is a health concern and a serious threat to miller's livelihood. >> tighten our belts and not spend any money and try to get through. >> i wish they were out in the water so we could have some crabs this holiday season but looks like we will have to import. >> the dungeness will come from somewhere, said the manager of the waterside cafe. >> we are getting updates every day and trying to find out what's the latest. >> but it's with bated breath. now oregon and parts of the washington coast are delaying crab seasons too. >> for us you are still going to get great crab and it will be quality, but it won't be where we normally go and catch it. >> alaska and puget sound could be the only fisheries with the dungeness crab considered safe

biggest individual donation made to an american public hospital. that hospital operates the only trauma center serving san francisco and northern san mateo counties. >> happening today, a historic church in napa will welcome back parishioners for the first time sips last year's earthquake. the magnitude 6.0 quake badly damaged the first methodist church. stain glassed windows were shattered and plaster walls crumbled. the 99-year-old church is now safe enough to hold services. it took nearly $2.5 million to repair. the first service begins in about 15 minutes at 9:

tuesday morning approximately rain is north of the bay area. if you are headed into the city or the north bay on tuesday, this is where the rain will be at 7:00 across san francisco, the peninsula, into berkeley and vallejo. and about 8:00, 9:00, it's pushing through hayward. >> fremont into san jose. it will be a little bit more of it by the average, perhaps. and then into the evening commute maybe some spotty showers. but overall the amounts range from anywhere from a couple hundredth it looks like up in the north bay to a little bit more than that in the south bay. maybe a quarter of an inch to a third of an inch. in the mountains this takes us through wednesday with a foot of snow in kirkwood and up toward donner. but you will even get more snow into thursday for maybe a foot and a half. definitely some tricky travel conditions if you are headed up

>> welcome back. we are starting this half-hour with a look at the weather with our meteorologist lisa argen. >> good morning, carolyn. live doppler hd shows a band of high clouds around the north bay, the peninsula. we are still looking at petition conditions buzz this system will bring in the high clouds, keep it mild for another day until we see the cool air arrive as soon as tomorrow. the peninsula right now, looking pretty nice with temperatures in the 50s. average highs for mountain view should be about 63. you are at that right now. half moon bay, yesterday it was 72 at the coast. today should be in the upper 60s. we will see about ten degrees above average from mountain view to redwood city and pretty much everywhere else at least 10 degrees above average. san francisco low 70s arrive for another day today. all around the bay. it's going to be with a lighting wind so very enjoyable.

attack in the africanmation of mali friday. 19 people died, including a mom from maryland, who was passionately dedicated to healthcare work in africa and asia. alex has the details from mali. >> broken glass, bullet holes destroyed rooms in what was considered one of the country's safest hotels. new pictures of the aftermath of the deadly rampage that left at least 19 people dead, including american aid worker anita datar. a contractor was around 20 americans there when the smooting began. >> they were right behind me. >> attackers chased him. they chased him. i just knew i was dead. >> you already resigned yourself to the fact that you were dead? >> yeah, basically. and they never looked. this he were shooting. the shells were hitting me. they never looked. >> in what he thought were his final moments, he said he thought of his family.

state of emergency. abc news, mali. >> in the wake of the paris and mali ail tax, california senator dianne feinstein is talking about whether syrian refugees should be admitted to the united states. last week feinstein announced she will propose a bill with an arizona state senator to help guard against terrorists trying to exploit the view visa waiver program. she will explain why she believes the u.s. needs a larger evacuation plan to prevent attacks like paris and mali. >> we don't have a lot of time. there are needless deaths. we have over 1 million people who are refugees who are trying to save their families, trying to run from it. >> feinstein plans to formally introduce the bill after thanksgiving. >> bonfires at san francisco's ocean beech have always been a cheap way to have fun but the senate park service thinks the fun getting out of hand and wants to crack down.

san francisco's saint bonifice parish will open their doors tonight to provide shelter for the homeless during the winter season. breakfast and dinner will be provided every day for sheltered guests. dozens of beds will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis for homeless men that need a warm place to sleep. the winter shelter program is a collaboration between

this morning stanford fans have bragging rights over cal after the cardinals beat the golden bears for the sixth year in a row. here's shu. he has all the highlights in this morning's sports. good morning. well, stanford was the obvious favorite in the 118th version of the big game, but with this match-up you never know what can happen. history tells us that. and it looked like a stanford runaway in the first half at christian mccaffrey set a school record for total yards in a game. the stanford marching band. still in their halloween costumes. oh, there's donald trump. second quarter. christian mccaffrey started the drive. 11 is and 12-yard runs. kevin hogan began, the quick screen pass. and watch this young man go. three great cut-backs. great downfield blocking. he has the speed to finish. mccaffrey takes it 49 yards for the touchdown. cardinals up 14-3. a field goal makes it 14-6. 51 seconds left in the half. mccaffrey fields a kickoff. the 98 yards. 282 of his stanford single game
