holloway's crime spree started on the day he killed antonio ramos. he has been charged with murder and multiple robberies that came afterwards. >> let's start with katie who spoke with one of the victims about her terrifying experience. katie? >> reporter: marquis holloway appeared in court today because of yesterday's profanity-laced tirade that prevented him from being properly arraigned. it was a bold, violent scene like the other robbery he is accused of. >> you would think why would a criminal try? >> diana worked as an actress in a music video along 23 ready street. she called the scene beautiful, until thieves with guns went after the equipment. >> one of the camera guys actually started to run down the street. i thought i'm going to do that, too. because there is no place to hide. >> reporter: she ran towards

telegraph avenue. >> i thought i was going to get shot in the back when i was running. >> reporter: police say marquis holloway, the murder suspect in the killing of the muralist antonio ramos is expected in diana's case, too. remember, he shot ramos near interstate 580. >> i hope it's the same guy. >> detectives are connecting him to five robberies within a week's time. >> my landlord come running up in front of the house. >> reporter: along mead avenue. >> the guy shot and the bullet went by me and my landlord. >> reporter: the witness says he's relieved. >> i'm happy. people like that shouldn't be -- i don't know. i don't know. i'm a firm believer justice should be served. >> i saw the gunman. he looked me in the face. and i thought i was going to get shot again. >> reporter: holloway admits to

shooting ramos but says it was an accident. multiple cases involving photographers and equipment, however, appears to be no accident. in oakland, abc7 news. this case issues lost and stolen law enforcement weapons. information on what the police chief and city lawmakers are doing. carolyn? >> everyone was shocked to find out an agent's gun, stolen here, was according to detectives used there in oakland to kill that artist. butfully, we found out today that there are numerous examples of federal agents lost and stolen guns nationwide. this man was arrested for the burglary. the question is how the federal agents' stolen firearm ended up

in the hands of the accused oakland killer, marquis holloway. according to report, agents lost 243 firearms, 179 were lost or stolen because officers failed to secure them. in july after a fraeth's gun stolen for a car was stolen the police chief issued a letter. >> all of the police agencies, asking them to adopt our policies when it comes to leaving firearms in a vehicle. >> now, a proposed ordinance will require all gun owners in

alaska airlines is apologizing for baggage handlers throwing a piece of luggage around as part of a game. >> the san jose resident chase plattman recorded it all. tonight alaska airlines says the bag belonged to the company not a passenger, and it was sort of a prop filled with magazines. they say workers should not have been playing the game out there on the tarmac and admit the video looks bad. >> the family of frank gifford says doctors found signs of cte, that he he suffered from symptoms in his later years. the family says they have his brain studied, hoping to advance research football and traumatic

at the white house today, the president spared two turkeys and this year, the honor went to abe and honest, the two are from foster farms in modesto. the president's daughters joined them. and during his speech and jokes he thanked them and we saw a moment every parent can relate to. >> they do this solely because it makes me feel good. not because they actually think that this is something i should be doing. and you know, as you get older, you appreciate when your kids just indulge you like this. >> reporter: he referred to abe as totus or "turkey of the

tonight we're learning more about the bus company involved in a crash in union square. abc7 news looked at reports from the california patrol and as abc news reporter wayne freedman learned, city sight seeing is under increased scrutiny. >> reporter: at the terminal in san francisco, it was almost business as usual. no one talked on camera but a mechanic confirmed the company received a surprise inspection by the california patrol, looking at machines and paper work. it started here, with this a tour bus crash in union square. the driver says his brakes failed before the bus careened into a construction scaffold, injuring 20 people. three remain hospitalized. today, abc7 news reports details inspections of 29 buses since

april, 2013. here are the reports. all passed despite minor problems like missing instructions for exists, and a clearance lamp. but the chp never inspected the bus in the union square accident. the tour company never reported it to the california public utilities commission. put simply, that bus never existed on paper. a violation of state law. >> if the company has satisfactory ratings it doesn't mean every vehicle was properly maintained. >> we await the results of the surprise inspection. wayne freedman, abc7 news. >> the president had a different thanksgiving message for the american people this year. don't worry about terrorism and

the time to be grateful. and there is so much to be grateful for, particularly when we look around many part of the world. in saudi arabia, a palestinian man is facing death, sentenced to 800 lashes and four years in prison, an appeal just backfired and a court ordered him put to death. his biggest crime? writing a book of poetry with religious themes. we have our challenges in this country, too, but much of the world still lives without freedoms we enjoy. i can say whatever i want to right now. you may not like it but no court will lock me up, much less sentence me to die. we tend to take that for granted. so, too, endless opportunity and a high standard of living. that is important, but what really matters as you sit down to enjoy a holiday meal tomorrow is having people you care about
