elsewhere the winds are up and the forth by is not so cold. we are look at upper 40s from santa rosa and novato to san francisco. with the clear start there is plenty sunshine with mid-to-upper 50s around the bay. to frost possible tonight as the winds back off. we will talk about changes toward the end of the weekend. that will include some rain. sue? >> good morning, everyone. we have light traffic conditions as you could imagine on black friday. you can see that everyone is moving at limit if you are headed to the oakland airport, no delays. we have a car off the road. highway 101 hit a power pole and it is not blocking the lanes. a bumper in the lanes, northbound 85 at the expressway because of a solo spinout. and the black friday mistransit schedule, bart is regular schedule, and caltran is weekend schedule and no ace train service today. >> thank you, sue.

it is 5:01. the c.h.p. is investigating a fatal crash in alamo on the off-ramp southbound interstate 680. fire crews arrived to the scene before 3:00 a.m. they found an overturned vehicle fully engulfed in flames. the victim was pronounced dead. in other vehicles were involved in the crash. the off-ramp is closed until the wreckage is removeed. >> asan francisco police have a mystery on their hands after an odd and potentially dangerous thanksgiving phenomenon. someone chained baseball bats to street polls all over the city. our reporter is in san francisco. these were not just regular baseball bats. cornell? cornell, can you hear us? >> wish having with the transmitter. >> our apologies. we will move on right now and give you more news.

in contra costa county officials were investigating the cause of a two-alarm fire in a concord office furniture store founded in 1939. the flames ignited just after 7:00 p.m. the store was on diamond way and challenge dry at the furniture store. firefighters had to battle the flames from the outside because it was too dangerous to go inside. it took two hours to contain the fire. officials state commercial office continueture inside helped to fuel the lanes in the warehouse section. the corporate office was saved and no one was hurt. >> shoppers are lined up around the bay area looking for black friday deals. we were at the premium outlets in livermore where hundreds brave the morning chill waiting in line just to get into the store that opened at midnight with only a certain number of people inside the store at a time. 100 million people are expected

santa rosa berkeley, san jose and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. >> san francisco police have a mystery on their hands after an odd and potentially dangerous thanksgiving phenomenon. someone chained baseball bats to street poles all over the city the back to cornell barnard in san francisco. these were not just regular baseball bats? >> good morning, katie, police call this discovery "very bizarre." trying to figure out why someone chained a baseball bat to light poles like this around san francisco. in fact, more than a dozen bats have been found around the city. in some cases they had nails protruding from them. officers found a bad on 19th avenue on thanksgiving day, and

beating of a man by two alameda built sheriff deupties is talking to abc7. we broke the story and showed you a video two weeks ago showing deputies taking down and repeatedly hitting 29-year-old stanislav patrov in a mission district alley as he was on the ground. stanislav patrov was seriously injured. another pan said -- man saw what happened. >> i saw a man not resisting arrest, getting beat up are the only thing i saw him doing was trying not to get hurt. he was covering himself up. >> san francisco police are investigating the incident. their report should be completed next week and forwarded to the district torn. >> today if france, french president hollande is calling people together to mourning in a national ceremony for the 130 people killed by terrorists two weeks ago in paris. the ceremony was held at the monument with the names of the victims read.

walnut creek, burlingame, campbell and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. >> welcome back, a only is still missing averaging flood waters hit texas this morning. a former sheriff deputy tried to save the woman who was trapped in her car. police say the former deputy thought the situation was dire enough she needed to try to rescue the other woman. she made contact with her right before the car was swept away. crews continued to lack for the missing woman to get her out of the car. >> the macy thanksgiving day parade traffic forced a blimp flying over head to make an emergency landing. the pilot was flying over people who were stuck in traffic headed to the parade to give them something to look at. when the payment went to refuel
