season just got very serious for oakland city leaders trying to keep the raiders from moving to southern california. according to our media partners, the bay area news group, there is a new deadline in place. nfl commissioner goddell announced a december 28 deadline for cities to present the league their best offers to help finance stadiums. oakland has not presented a proposal yet and oakland city council member comments to this saying the city needs to step it up. they are way behind. oakland is offering less public money than san diego and st. corporate base than los angeles to help finance the stadium. mayor schaaf has said she was helping to get a proposal together in the next couple of months but the new timeframe has to expedite the deadline. she did not kept on the new report. thank you.
