17 were injured inside the center designed to help those with developmental disabilities. an officer tried to calm evacuees down saying, try to relax, try to relax, i'll take a bullet before you do. of the 17 wounds ten remain in two southern california hospitals and two are in critical but stable condition. seven victims have been discharged and officials will hold a news conference at 9:00 a.m. and we are expecting an update on the patients at that point. >> the shooting rampage caused governor brown to cancel the tree lighting ceremony at the state capital out of respect for the victims. they lit the tree without the fanfare. bay area gun stores are specificking to see an uptick in gun sales and vacaville was seeing a rides in demand for handgun instruction. many in california believe that a concealed weapons permit will give them a fighting chance during an active shooter situation.

home belonging to the family of the suspects in the san bernardino shooting miles from where everything unfolded yesterday. officers are searching a black car looking for evidence. >> the authorities identified two shooting suspects in the san bernardino rampage that killed 14 people. we go to lauren in san bernardino for the latest. lauren? >> the shooters have been identified at 28-year-old syed farook and 27-year-old tashfeen malik. she was the wife of farook, according to the where if law. authorities do not know the motive behind the attack. they are not ruling out terrorism. the suspects are dead. investigators remain on scene and alert. what starts as a mass shooting ended with a deadly pan hunt.
