moved to the right shoulder with traffic stacked up to 238. >> coming up at 5:02 new developments in the deadly san bernardino shooting we are lending two shooters, a man and woman, opened fire in a conference room filled with employees and that police are still not ruling out terrorism. gnash mash is in the news -- natasha zouves is in the newsroom with the latest. >> 14 are dead. the identity are not released. families are waiting. police are searching for a motive the two suspects were a couple. they reportedly were the parents of a six-month-old baby girl. the 28-year-old syed farook and 27-year-old tashfeen malik both now dead. you can see their wrecked s.u.v. riddled with hundreds of bullets farook was an employee of the inland regional center a homosexuality department specialist and attended the holiday party where the attack occurred. he left the party in an angry

17 were injured inside the center designed to help those with developmental disabilities. an officer tried to calm evacuees down saying, try to relax, try to relax, i'll take a bullet before you do. of the 17 wounds ten remain in two southern california hospitals and two are in critical but stable condition. seven victims have been discharged and officials will hold a news conference at 9:00 a.m. and we are expecting an update on the patients at that point. >> the shooting rampage caused governor brown to cancel the tree lighting ceremony at the state capital out of respect for the victims. they lit the tree without the fanfare. bay area gun stores are specificking to see an uptick in gun sales and vacaville was seeing a rides in demand for handgun instruction. many in california believe that a concealed weapons permit will give them a fighting chance during an active shooter situation.

home belonging to the family of the suspects in the san bernardino shooting miles from where everything unfolded yesterday. officers are searching a black car looking for evidence. >> the authorities identified two shooting suspects in the san bernardino rampage that killed 14 people. we go to lauren in san bernardino for the latest. lauren? >> the shooters have been identified at 28-year-old syed farook and 27-year-old tashfeen malik. she was the wife of farook, according to the where if law. authorities do not know the motive behind the attack. they are not ruling out terrorism. the suspects are dead. investigators remain on scene and alert. what starts as a mass shooting ended with a deadly pan hunt.

in the morning, the shooter stormed the regional center with semi-automatic weapons killing 14 and wounding 17. it was around four hours later there was a confrontation between the suspects and police two miles away on a neighbor street that left the two suspects dead. the shooters target add workshop and training event inside the inland regional center. the group holding the meeting was the san bernardino county health department, a public health department and farook was an employee of the county. he was an environmental specialist and, worked there are for five years. he was at the meeting yesterday morning. he left before the attack. >> officially there were reports that there could have been three gunmen so obviously the thought of possibly being a third is worrying a lot of folks in the southern california area. are you getting anymore clarity on that? >> we did get some clarity on that last night from the police
