walnut creek, burlingame, campbell and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. and a lake in livermore is closed to swimming. our media partners report that testing detected a toxic blue green algae bloom in the lake. boating and fishing are allowed but avoid contact with the water and certainly keep your pets away from the lake. the algae can kill dogs. it causes nausea and vomiting and headaches in people. >> where is the rain? that is the question for the day. >> mike is tracking it. meteorologist mike nicco is on the roof. >> not rain but i have daze el. i broke out the umbrella. i warned to save the suit. but it could be something smart to have because we had smart people around the ferry building early this morning.
