you can see the rain drops on our north camera. >> reporter: dan, we've seen some light rain in the north bay right now out here in san francisco. a little drizzly. let's take a look at live doppler 7 hd and we'll check out what is happening right now. not just clouds and drizzle, but here's what's coming. it's storm out of the gulf of alaska. this is not directly related to el nino. on our storm impact scale, it's a two. winds will pick up to 45 miles an hour, possibly stronger. half an inch to an inch of rain is expected. a wind advisory until 10. those winds could knock down trees and power lines. this storm will also churn up the waves. we're looking at a high surf warning. thursday, 4:00 p.m. to friday 4:00 p.m., swells 17-21 feet. watch out along the coastline. as you take a look here at the

police found the body inside the home monday night during a welfare check. both the suspected and the victim are korean nationals. police say an infant and a young child were inside the home. there was blood and broken items all over the place, apparently. guilty of first-degree murder. regina butler faces a life sen e sentence for killing her boyfriend. she stabbed the disabled man 34 times in 2013. family members reported jacobson missing. prosecutors claim he covered his mout with a cloth to muffle any cries for help. >> thousands of dollars to get guns off the streets. using the money for a gun buy back this saturday. the event has the backing of the mayor and the police chief. people will get a hundred toll lars for a handgun, 200 for an assault weapon.
