unbelievable. >> the home invasion happened tuesday afternoon when karen and her husband were away. police say the 18-year-old armani miller of oakland kicked in the door, pistol whipped the nanny and drove off with stolen goods. it took place in front of the couple's 5-year-old daughter. a neighbor saw what they believe is a car his accomplice drove. >> a older model white lexus two door parked down the street and around the corner. >> police found the car this is one of a dozen cameras that takes images of cars and license plates. a crime-fighting tool. police found the black suv parked down 35th avenue and they sat on it, waiting for the robber to show up. orinda police sent out a

6.2 feet this morning. it exceeded that by nearly a foot. in the north bay, a live view from our explore tore yum camera. showers diminish tomorrow and the next storm coming in late saturday into sunday. additional rainfall above and beyond what is measured by 5:00, looks looks like higher totals will be in the south bay and east bay. in the sierra, a winter storm warning and chain controls, and delays are likely. we'll see from a half foot to two feet of snow in the higher elevations over the passes. back to the bay area, we'll see mainly cloudy skies and areas of showers and waves of rainfall from time to time tapering into

scattered showers tomorrow. but overnight lows reach out into the mid to upper 40 and so the start could be a challenging one. by afternoon, breaks of sunshine, cloudy skies with showers tapering off. here is a look at the accu-weather forecast we'll get breaks of sunshine but a chance of rain developing late and a next storm arriving overnight into sunday morning. this ranks two out of five so will be a storm dropping sharply. cold morning weather tuesday and wednesday.

his water usage this time was nearly half of what it was in october. olympic medallist christy yam yamaguchi says a leak was the cause of her usage. and this member of motley whose manager says he has been touring for two years. >> these are people who violated an excessive use ordinance. >> topping the list is this home owned a wine maker. according to records, that address uses more than 11,000 gallons per day. keep in mind anything over a thousand owe -- per day is considered excessive.

around? into tomorrow afternoon, here is the bay things are looking right now. areas or pockets of rainfall, one line of shower activity. there is one little cell and we have a line of showers, rainfall sweeping through parts of marin county now, moving towards the golden gate. starting at 10:00 this evening, we'll see from time to time, a band of showers and storms, one sweeping through san francisco into peninsula. and into parts of the east bay, you can see other bands developing and so possibly, some heavy down pours when we expect it to taper off by mid day tomorrow.
