station across the reel job. we're tracking a storm that's in position in the north bay just to the south of rona park. 101 is wet right now. as we track this moderate band of showers, you see 408 moving into petaluma by 516 and san ravel. as we time this in time of showers, think of this as when the rain enters your neighborhood. before the 5:00 hour, right around 5:22 in oakland, 6:44 in freemo freemont, san jose, right and the 7:30 hour. so if we time the rain for you between now and 10:00, in rain will head south, showers will move through. by 10:00 to 2:00 tomorrow morning and tomorrow morning between 2:00 and 9:00, there's a chance of ice lated thunderstorms. >> okay, drew, thanks so much. >> as you heard from drew,

some cars drove through it before the officials got there and got the goop on their cars. >> there was manyxd gallons of epo epoxy-like, paste substance.ñi >> they first thought it was paint but then noticed it had a grainy texture to it. they worried about spinouts, so they sprinkled sand on it. about that time, it started drizzling creating a slurry that covered up the lane's stripes. ju said that's all they could do at that time knowing that all of these people needed to get through. they reopened the lanes around 6:45, but, by then, the commute was wrecked. >> it was a bear. i just got here and it's almostd 25 minutes to 8:00. >> i'm relarksed.

highway one. san francisco, right around 4:35 5 4:00 p.m. oakland, 5:25 in the evening. heyward, expect the rain to begin to move in right after the 6:00 hour tonight. ahead of this front, we had a south wind. that's keeping us on the rather mild. 60 degrees, 57 in san francisco. you notice santa rosa one of the cooler spots at 53. so on our storm impact scale, this is the light storm, scattered showers tapering early saturday. here we go, hour by hour for you on future weather. by 6:00, the rain is moving in. could be heavy at times at this hour knocking on the door of davy. by 8:00, much of the region is seeing rain into the south bay, that's when you start to see the

drops where you are. by 11:00 that night, here comes the tail end of the moisture moving through. some scattered showers are possible. don't be surprised if you hear a clap of thund. by the afternoon, we are dry, we are sunny. but a north wind is going to keep us cool. in the north bay, we may see some spots close to an inch of rain where the showers kind of linger for a longer period. also, winter storm warning on the western clip, a winter weather advisory. this is going to be nice for skiers and snow borders. overnight tonight, we'm havon and off showers. if you're reich me and you still have to do christmas shopping to do tomorrow early on, we'll have
