early due to the democratic debate. marcy gonzalez is at the debate in new hampshire. marcy? >> reporter: drama ahead of tonight's democratic debate. four members of bernie sans deers' campaign staff accused of tapping into hillary clinton private files. >> very unhappy these young people would do this. >> this was a very egregious breach and our data was stolen. this not an an inned a vert tent. >> the breach mace potential in a glitch in the massive databases but the one sanders staffer fired says he did nothing wrong. >> i saw that there was data. i saw that it was different than ours. and that was really the extent of what i learned. >> the dnc has now reversed the decision to ban the sanders campaign from accessing the crucial voter information in the

the man using cpr but unsuccessful. new details on an elderly woman who went missing from her san jose home yesterday afternoon, prompting a silver alert that's morning. the chp says 76-year-old lee yang was hit and killed just before 3:00 a.m. happened on center road five miles from her home. the driver of a honda accord first hit her and then tried to wave off other cars from hitting her again. officers say that's when a silver four-door saturn hit her a second time and kept going. call san jose pd if you have information. >> u.s.a. posteriorsal service is racing to get mail back to its destination after a big rig spilled thousands of letters in san francisco. cornell bernard is live at the scene of this developing story. cleanup has not been easy, has it? >> reporter: it hasn't. so much mail to clean up, and yes, it's been a very slow process today. just a few minutes ago the overturned big rig was righted back on its wheels. you can make out the top of the

a mysterious discovery along a freeway in oakland. you see chp officers responding to a car found riddled with bullet holes and was still running when officers arrived but no one was nearby. the car was 2001 on an embank. on interstate 580. a 55-year-old man is in critical condition at st. mary's medical center? san francisco after firefighters found him face down in the water around ocean beach this morning. fire crews pulled him out on the rocks and did cpr.

bay area retailers have escaped their hours for last-minute christmas shoppers this supersaturday. today is expected to be the busiest shopping day the season. retail red face says 90% of people are still shopping for the perfect present at the best

price. they forecast sales to rise 3.7% to $631 billion with each shopper spending more than $800 on average. as people head out tonight, will you face the rain? drew is here now. a little break? >> a nice december saturday night is setting up across the bay area, including mainly clear skies and dry conditions. live doppler 7hd right now is quiet but tomorrow it's going to be tracking our next storm. with a westerly wind right now, everyone is pretty much sitting in the mid-to-low 50s. 53 in oakland, and san francisco, 54, hayward, san jose, 55. so, live doppler 7hd along with satellite, hearings the system we had yesterday. that's now pushing to the east on the heel of that storm here comps sunday's storm and it's taking a similar path that yesterday's storm took as well. so on the storm impact scale, it's a one, very light storm, rain spread to the south, on sunday, so begin thursday the north bay, south bay, last coke -- last location, wet weather on sunday, slower than normal travel, and between a half inch and inch in our

wettest spots. a lot of locales will have half inch of rain. this future weather on sunday, if you have errands to run, the earlier the better. by 8:00 we're seeing light rain in the north bay. by 1:00, 2:00 in the afternoon, the front is marching to the south. by 2:00, most areas seeing some light rain, heavier pockets are developing in the north bay. by 4:00, a set of showers moves to move through the bay area, and then by 8:00 we'll owe see the tail enmove through. by 8:00. wet weather along the peninsula. on monday this main event moves through tomorrow afternoon in terms of total rainfall, half inch in most locations. future weather is picking up on some downpours so between a half inch and inch of rain is likely. i want to fast forward and show you our second storm. this one moves in monday night,

the cal bears finished up finals and few preparing for air force in the armed forces bowl december 29th in fort worth, texas. sunny dike's first bowl appearance as coach of the bears and perhaps quarterback's last game as a bear. most people think he is turning pro after the game. but jarred just wanting to think about the bowl game, not his future. >> probably play harder than anybody we have seen on film all year. something they try to do consistently year in and year out, and they're a very successful program. go to a bowl game almost every year. it's nine of the last ten years they've gone to a bowl game. so they know how to win games and you can tell how they play in the way they win games. they play hard.
