>> san francisco police have arrested a man who barricade himself inside a hotel undergoing innovations -- eninnovations. the man's ex-girlfriend called the police after a fight. a tactical team negotiated with the man who surrendered at 3:00 in the afternoon. charges have not been released. a man in hayward died when a fight escalated into gunfire. police say the people involved were connected to some type of function at a motorcycle shop on foot hill boulevard. the shooting happen around 2:00 this morning. no word of any arrests. firefighters rescued a person who was caught under a b.a.r.t. train at the downtown berkeley station. the person is now at highland hospital. abc7 news was at the downtown berkeley station shut down for two hours. the incident resulted in major

delays on the richmond line this morning. police are not sure how the victim ended up on the tracks. investigators in fremont are can looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident who her two men. they were in a crosswalk on fremont boulevard. they -- on saturday morning. a 42-year-old man in critical can, the second, a 29-year-old map, expected to survive. both from fremont. new details bat man's death inside a fraternity house in uc berkeley. the man was 23 years old and police say his death is suspicion. officers found the man unresponsive around7:30 yesterday morning. they were not successful at resuscitating him. a 29-year-old man died of alcohol poisoning at another fraternity house last year. >> an unexpected turn of event during a robbery captured on

jeremy carter. his grandson had not been feeling well, took a nap and his heart stopped. two weeks ago carter announced he was cancer-free. a convince store robbery did not turn out the way the criminal intended. a man walked into the store in coral gables, florida, and demand everybody empty their pockets or he'll shoot them. two customers grabbed the would-be robber and beat him. they hold the robber on the ground and tie his shoe laces together until police arrived. >> we would not urge the public over to go ahead and do these type of actions and we're very happy and elatest it turned out in the way it did. >> police say the man hat a loaded gun in his waistband and is expected to face a judge tomorrow. >> starting tomorrow the faa will require people to register personal drones. they drones cannot weigh more than 55-pounds and be marked with the inner's registration number. the faa expects parents to register younger children.

at abc7 news was in vallejo for the victory outreach church's annual christmas service. the congregation collects toys and gifts and gives them to children in the community. this year is a little different. last night two people were hurt when a car slammed into the church on sacramento street. witnesses say the driver was speeding. the crash destroyed two rooms, win of which is used to teach those children. >> we weren't able to hold the celebration like we wanted to. both classes were damaged because the car went all the way inside to the classrooms. everybody is in pretty good spirits, still came to church, and they're here celebrating with all of us. >> church leaders are thankful those involved surveyed the crash. the christmas service was not
