to make a match using dental records. so, now, they're hoping they'll get a hit from the dna. >> maybe it will be up loaded to a data base and then try to match it, see if there's any missing persons, homicides or anything like that. >> the bones are from someone who's dna is not in the data base. the remains may forever be a mystery. >> san francisco will consider e consider issuing a formal apology. mario woods died after being shot by officers. today, supervisor david campost offered public condolences to his mother. his death has symbolized the need for police reform.

back to our breaking news in oakland, it looks like rescue crews are getting very, very close to extricating that plumbing contractor who has been stuck in the sewer line since about 12:30 this afternoon when the trench collapsed on him. >> it's obvious they were giving him pain medication, it's scary and painful. he had a lot of weight on him over the last half hour, so they managed to remove much of the dirt. it looks like they're very close to getting him out of this predicament. he's been there for more than three hours now. >> the 2300 block of 21st
