>> abc7 news begins with breaking news. >> good morning, thank you for joining us, i am natasha zouves. >> i am kristen sze. >> chip kelly is the new head coach for the san francisco 49ers. the announcement was just made fired by the philadelphia eagles before the end of the season after just two years. ajoining us on the phone is our sports director. chip kelly. what do you think of the selection? >> this is a really, really, really bold move bit 49ers. it is either going do work and be fantastic or it will be a disaster because chip commercially a polarizing guy. it send as last messages.

philadelphia eagles. it is interesting that it has come around and now chip kelly has the potential to coach kaepernick for the red and gold. >> larry, he had a disappointing 2015 season with the philadelphia eagles. what do you thing they hope to get by bringing hill on the team? >> the 49ers have to hope he has learned his lesson from the seasons in campaign. last year was a disaster. it was a mutiny among the players and he had total control of the roster and he traded away or got rid of anyone who had any skill. the players were furious and the ownership was furious and it just disintegrated. i cannot imagine he will have that power or control with the 49ers but i would hope that he has learned he has to get along better where the employees; that this is a different situation and he has to have everyone on
