to be done they will let the stormy conditions pass before repairs. there are large rocks inside the massive sinkhole to keep people from falling in and getting hurt >> large swells continue to crush on the pier and beat down on the sidewalk along beep boulevard. the result is this. >> a pretty big hole. it looked like an earthquake hit this is what the waves do. >> the hole whos right down to the sandy beach which is a sight for people in the area. the danger zone for anyone who is too close. >> crazy. never seen figure like that. all the city of pacifica has seen this happen about three other times in the span of 30 years and they were not surprised when they saw the sinkhole on sunday morning. crews immediately began to make emergency repairs by placeing large boulders that were stored near by for this situation. >> this area is well-known for wave crashing and the king tides and high tide and high surf.
