live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> bumper to bumper, traffic backed up in san francisco as commuters are greeted by super bowl closures for the first time. >> good morning, i am kristen sze. >> i am reggie aqui. >> we will look at sky 7, super bowl city, downtown san francisco. this is the reason why. there will be for ten of thousands of football plans with several streets shut down that are usually packed anyway on a monday. amy hollyfield is if san francisco with reaction from the commuters. how are they doing?

people are detoured bumper-to-bumper traffic. also we want to talk about san francisco super bowl city closures. reggie? >> look at our website, right on front page, just click on the main story to get to a map to show you what is closed and how to get around it. it is on our abc7 news app which is free in the app store. all the cost of throwing this big party keeps going up for san francisco. the "san francisco chronicle" reports the city spent 500,000 extra to speed up work at transbay terminal before the closures. crews worked an the clock on the beale street side to get the work done by saturday. the latest report puts the city at almost $5 million. that is more than $1 million over the mayor's original estimate. >> today, the raiders meet the coliseum authority to discuss a lease extension to keep the team in oakland. our media partner reports that

fairfield at 62 degrees, tonight, with less cloud cover initially the fog will form and we will have a light offshore breeze pilling the fog from the central valley to our neighborhoods so be careful. the longer we go through the commute the more likely it is to be foggy. napa is the cool spot at 42 and san francisco is the warm spot at 49. we have a wet pattern for friday, saturday, and sunday. our storm impact scale shows the impact of what we me it will be out of the storms all the way through the winter season: light is "1" to revere, "5" the storm friday, rains come, it will be light, light breezes, not much in the way of any time of tides or waves so well keep it right there. next, can you see at 4:00 on friday morning, through the afternoon hours, most of the rains across the north bay as the storm track will be to our north the next several days. by saturday evening you can see the storm track coming into the heart of the bay and overnight
