live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> police and bomb sniffing dogs are check out the s.a.p. center ahead of super bowl. >> for get the red carpet i is the golden walkway roll out in san jose. the big game less than a week away, tonight is the opportunity for journalists to grill the broncos and panthers, players and coaches, and for super fans, to witness it. we have coverage. we go to san francisco but, first, matt at the s.a.p. center where opening night is sold out.

matt? >> yes, a lot of activity as they are set up for this, with the booth, food vendors, law enforcement, security is ready, as well, and the gold carpet is ready, as media day has turned into opening night. a busy morning at the s.a.p. center before opening night. bomb sniffing dogs and a lot of law enforcement officers are already open watch. the broncos and panthers landed at san jose airport yesterday. the players are at the s.a.p. center tonight for what used to be called media day, moved from tuesday morning to monday night and made it a big prime time event and opened it up to fans. the coffee at the square is a perfect view of the field with more of san pay -- san pedro with yards and yards much grass. >> don't have to wore about traffic the it is pretty. >> another super set up, temporary outdoor cafe and beer garden, san jose special event

police are in uniform and in plain collects on patrol, screening delivery trucks in an effort to keep the family friendly event safe. so far, the only piper issue was over the weekend, three people were detained and released for public intoxication. we went through security, committee had us take out our phones and waved us with wands. we were inside super bowl city and we took a quickstep outside to get a shot of the ferry building. a security guard saw us but made us go back around through security so they are taking tens very seriouslily. there are no major issues at super bowl city just a couple of people detain asked released. at nfl since no problems whatever. >> so far, fans have showed thank you very much pride for the teams at until experience.
