high in the low to mid-60s by noontime but look at the afternoon times. 4:00 we are in the mid-70s near santa rosa, 68 at the cost. we will talk about record warmth coming up, carolyn. >> thank you, lisa. we begin with news out of san francisco where a intersection remains closed following a triple fat talty. three people dead following a police chase. one of the victims tell abc7 news they were heading home from the nfl experience celebrating the super^bowl. police responded to the report of a car doing donuts in the intersection about 9:30 last night. when cph officers arrived, they began the chase but ended it because of the danger to pedestrian. the victim's car ran several red lights and hitting a taxi and bursting into flames.

>> it hit a taxi car and the taxi car driver was on the stretcher and they were putting out a fire in the car. >> two of the victims burned to death. the other was ejected. brandon street remains closed between 7th and 8th streets. this is super^bowl sunday finally. almost all of the parties and concerts are over. all that's left is a massive cleanup and a chance to enjoy some football. this is a live look at super^bowl city from our visa everywhere camera. it will be open again today but it is expected to draw a much smaller crowd than yesterday. abc7 news reporter tiffany wilson joins us live outside super^bowl to city with all the details. good morning, tiffany. >> and good morning to you, carolyn. well, i have to say the months and days and leadup concerts

culminated last night by a performance by alicia keys on city stage. but only the very, very dedicated fans made it inside super^bowl city to see the show. some fans lined up as many as 10 hours early. police shut down access to super^bowl city and then had to close off the northbound lanes of the embarcadero as thousands of additional fans lined the streets. the crowd behave well but multiple children got separated from their families in the chaos. fortunately all were reunited. but it was disappointing for families who arrived almost five hours before and still got to the delay. >> we got here about 4:30, 5:00. and it was chaotic. there was no room to walk. we went straight to the line and we were turned down. >> people in the audience outside of super^bowl city said the sound was a little muffled

43 morgan hill. half moon bay is at 48. we've got offshore winds in the upper elevations that are quite gusty. santa rosa 42. 41 napa, and no fog to report of. and we are looking at temperatures a little bit warmer. now those gust at the winds are above 2500 feet. so gusting up to 50 miles an hour from mt. diablo and they are out of the east. we are looking at some fog that's being pushed offshore or doesn't have a chance to form and then the warmth will make it all the with a i to the coast today. spring like warmth looking for records possible tomorrow and tuesday. and cooler and the surprise i spoke of before it's going to be dry. so we are looking at dry weather unfortunately right on through next weekend. took the little chance of rain out. still have a beach hazard statement throughout the afternoon today with swells anywhere from 7 to 10 feet. and the current wave height 7 to 8 feet out there. so still pretty dangerous all the way up and down the coast. so here's the plan today. sunny and warmer. take a look, we've got some low clouds at the coast but they

make zero impact as we are just looking at the clear conditions. so upper 40s today in the northern sierra nevada. unfortunately by tuesday we will be up to 58 degrees in the sierra. looking at 82 in los angeles. so we've got warmth all the way from north to south. and it's going to stick around. the ridge is going to be slow to break down. so here's a look at monday, which will feature the upper 70s. you can see the orange here coming up from the south. that's where we got the warmest condition and the records would be in the mid-and upper 70s for san francisco and oakland. perhaps shy of that but look what happens on tuesday. we are still in the 70s. still temperatures well above average. and by wednesday looking like more of an on shore push but it's going to take all week lock for the temperatures to come down to near normal. in super^bowl city today we are starting out with low 60s at 11:00. 68 degrees 2:00 in the afternoon. and you will notice conditions will be milder by 6:00. in is and around the bay today

>> in sports we are hours away from the kickoff of super bowl 50. the panthers will battle the broncos at levi's stadium. kickoff at 3:30 p.m.. a couple of big honors for some 49ers before the game. wide receiver antawn boulton was named the man of the year for improving the lives of underprivileged children. this award is given to the player for his outstanding achievements on and off the field. eli manning and benjamin watson were the other nominees. a $55,000 donation will be made to the charity of bolden's choice. earlier eddie debartolo junior was vote into the 2016 class of the pro football hall of fame.

here's mike shumann with the details in this morning's sports. >> good morning. well, eddied debartolo has been inducted into the pro football hall of fame. the former 49er owner brought respectable to the club with 5 football titles and no better place to get it than here in super bowl 50. it's his fourth time at a finalist and took the voters the longest of any finalist debate before they made the call. there's no better opener in sports if you ask anyone whoever played for him, and i fall into that category. he treated everyone like family and made sure his teams had everything they needed to succeed. mr. d was humbled. >> eats unbelievable. it's almost like it was a script that was written. you know, having super bowl 50 here in the bay area after all the years that we, you know, that we battled and played here is something that -- i don't know if anybody could ever write

we are having some beautiful weather around the day today. it will last not only for the second half of the weekend, the super bowl, but for much of the work week. this ridge is going to be slow to break down. it's building into the pacific northwest and deflecting all the cloud cover to the north. it be strongly situated over us tomorrow. and really doesn't want to leave tuesday. we could see records monday and tuesday. and today likely average highs as much as 10 degrees above the norm. so we should see anywhere from upper 50s to low 60s for early february. we will be well above that. 52 san francisco. good morning oakland, 47. it's 49 in mountain view, 46 san jose with low 40s morgan hill and 48 at the coast half moon bay. from peer 15, the exploratorium3 camera, lit up beautifully this morning. low 40s. it's not that chilly out there. we've seen much cooler in the past couple days. 42 santa rosa, low 40s napa, fairfield. no fog to speak of either and we've got a strong offshore flow

developing above about 2500 feet. this is sutro. nice view of the city with spring like warmth today. records possible tomorrow and tuesday. and that ridge slow to leave. keeps us dry all week long into next weekend. we are getting toward the latter part of february and unfortunately the rain is going to be hard to bring back. it's looking like it's growing to be hard to bring back. things could change, but between now and then it's the surf, it's the beach that you are probably thinking about, and it's still dangerous throughout the average. we are looking at swells from 7 to 10 feet. you can see they are will 7, 8 feet from san francisco to half moon bay. all the way down to the central coast strong rip currents are likely. and the warmth, all the way down through san luis obispo and into southern california. check out the fog offshore. that's where it stays. nothing but sunshine from start to finish today. about 10 1/2 hours of day light to enjoy. near 50 today in the northern sierra. low 60s in yosemite.

we will see the temperatures jump another ten degrees in the mountains by about tuesday. so that should be our warmest day in the mountains and a slow cool down. low 80s in los angeles. should be about 84 by tuesday. so getting warmer into the early part of the work week. let's check out monday. a little built of orange here. this means even warmer weather for san jose. perhaps a record here of the look at all the 70s. it's tuesday when the winds begin to shift but the temperatures don't drop that much. it's really going to start wednesday, the cooling. it will be back into the 60s. but that still is above average. in san francisco today for super bowl city look for upper 60s 2:00, and by 6:00 we are in the low 60s. an even milder evening with 57 at 10:00. so the highs today ranging from about, oh, 66 half man bay to 75 lake port and santa rosa. and down in santa clara a beautiful bay. 59 at 7:00. the accuweather seven-day

today for a san jose native. marlo mosley, an elementary school student, won an nfl contest challenge being kids to play 60 minutes a day. that led her being picked on the levi's stadium field this afternoon. she will hand-off the game ball to the officials. she tells us she's going to be a bit nervous because everybody watching her at the stadium and on tv, but marlo said she thinks she will find a way to pull it off, and we know you will. coming up next on the abc7 sunday morning news at 6:00, a police chase ends in a deadly crash in san francisco. what investigators say started the pursuit. also, a super bowl city overflow. hour people who could not get into the big alicia keys concert tried to still enjoy it. ♪
