afternoon. in san francisco, abc7 news. a man was shot in daily city by police officers responding to a domestic violence call on st. francis boulevard. an officer confronted the guy shot him, once. we're learning one of the two people killed in marin city had been working to turn his life around for the better, cheryl jennings featured one of the men on "beyond the headlines" two years ago. he worked with a nonprofit organization performing stars in marin. he was shot to death with his father in law. it happened during a large fight. new at 6:00 a bay area company is working on a vaccine for the zika virus. abc7 news was in redwood city where researchers say they're
