live, breaking news. >> u.s. supreme court justice antonin scalia is being remembered as a reliable conservative whose own style helped liven the public face of the court. he died in his sleep in a private residence in south texas. he was considered the court's most firey conservative expose has a long and distinguished career. he practiced with a law firm in cleveland, ohio, then joined the faculty of the university of virginia school of law. he was a visiting professor at stafford from 1980 to 1981.

>> sheriffs are trying to track down a man they shay shot man in downtown san jose. a vta camera caught the map. it happened just after 10:00 last night. the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. the sheriff's office is happening the case because it happened on vta property. also in san jose, an apartment fire has left 11 people homeless, one person suffered severe burns and was taken to the hospital. fire department photographer craig rose took the pictures of the scene. the flames broke out around 5:30 this morning in a nine-unit building on south ninth street. no word yet on what caused the fire. the red cross is helping those who were bounder out of -- burned out of their homes. >> muni riders on mission street were taken by surprise. a dots bus stops have been taken out of service as part of a plan to ease traffic flow. lilian kim is live on mission street with more on this developing story. >> reporter: we're on mission

gorgeous, by noon, nothing but sunshine. by 4:00, downtown -- downright lovely. most spots tomorrow in the mid-and-upper 70s, well above normal this tool of the year, and temperatures are off to the race next week. future track temperature shows you on monday, look at this, north bay, many spots have a good chance of getting to the low 80s, a lot of spots around the bay in mid-and-upper 70s, and then records likely going to fall on tuesday, san jose, oakland, san francisco, a lot of spots are going to top out in the mid-and-upper 70s, potentially the lower 80s before we track cooler temperatures. rating our storms this season, one is the lightest, five the most severe. gives you an idea what to expect. the one coming wednesday night and thursday morning, it's a one, a light storm so minimal impact but we'll see some rain.
