abc reporter is here with an update we got from officials. >> the fire has been burning since before 3:00 a.m. and it is posing a criminal for firefighters because it is burning in steep terrain that is hard to access. firefighters have helicopters attacking it from before. this is near the pacific coast highway and los angeles firefighters spoke and said that seven acres have burned, and earlier they said that looked more like 20 acres. no homes are in the path of the flames. but more than 100 kids have been evacuated from the camp and others are on the stand by and could voluntarily leave if the fire continues to grow. the flames are moving uphill and there is no strong wind at this time. >> the memorial services are held this morning for pittsburg police officer pearman, with community members holding a vigil for pearman. for 15 years he patrolled the housing projects. he did not just patrol but
