making passes and the coast guard said it will not be called off as long as the situation is unresolved and helicopters will fly after dark, staying up as long as they can. it's possible they're refuelling now and they'll be back out here. so we're learning that 2 people called in that a man was in the water and struggling. a man trying to help able to make it back to shore. lifeguards responded with several agencies and what they entailed. >> we have had an hour's worth

of in water dive searches. conditions were tough, and we have the harbor out here with the boat. we have rvc in the water and a coast guard cutter out as well. >> you heard him say rough conditions. lifeguards aret( advising peopl to stay out of the water unless you're an experienced surfer or swimmer if you're current, you're advised to stay calm, and if you see a person in a rip current you're advised not to go after them, but to call 911. the person in the water was wearing a wet suit. the search, according to the coast guard will continue into the night. the coast guard

are searching the cars and they believe the man was at the beach by himself. at 6:00, the body of a ski instructor has been found. a search and rescue team found the body of carson may, the 23-year-old last seen january 15th. this is video of prior search efforts. today, search dogs were brought to the area where his cell phone left pings. and he was found under five feet of snow. police are searching for a man who gunned down a 15-year-old boy today. >> reporter: hi, dan. the pictures tell the story.

as family members arrive just a short time after another young life is lost, one of their own. gunned down on a bike path in the middle of the morning. he was just 14 years old. xavier mcclannaman. >> he never upset his parents, either. when you're in the streets, anything may happen, you know? things happen. >> a lot of people knew him. and i guess they're just telling me to make sure for myself. >> reporter: it happened on the richmond greenway, running adjacent to the middle school. this neighbor heard the shots but didn't realize it was a young teen that lost his life. >> he didn't have a chance to live yet. you know? >> reporter: police won't say if the shooting was gang related. but they're concerned about what might happen next. >> we know that when a young

person is killed in public, in brazen daylight shooting it can prompt retaliation and stir up violence. >> oh, just keep your kids close to you. know where they're at at all times, that is all. that is all i can say. >> police combed the tracks looking for evidence and believe one gunman was involved. a person that got away. in richmond, laura anthony, abc7 news. a bus burst into flames in a san francisco gas station today, sky 7 shows firefighters hosing down the paratransit bus at 9th and howard, this afternoon, first responders evacuated the station, and the fire didn't spread to the gas tanks but did reach a tank on the bus. >> just got bigger until explosions. so there was a hissing sound,

the house. first glance, it's doifl see. this big rig toppled on to a house, joanne described the damage. this is where her parents live. >> you can see it's gone and taken out their bedroom and bathroom closet. and some of the dining area. >> she says her mom usually takes a nap at about the time the truck smashed into the house. both of her parents were not home at the time. they're on their way home from a vacation in hawaii. this is the second time their house has been smashed by a run away vehicle. an suv came crashing into last time this, is worse. >> once the truck gets removed, they'll see if it's okay. >> the gravel truck came down the hill and he said the brakes went out and he went into the house. when i heard it, my son was

outside and you heard a boom. >> reporter: jackie says her son helped the driver out of the truck. he was bleeding. the california highway patrol says the 28-year-old was rushed to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. this crash affected the neighborhood. >> he hit a power pole and now there is a lot of people without power and communication. and we've had him stay in place until we're able to clear the area. >> crews figure it will take a few hours to remove the massive tractor trailer truck from the house. a funeral for a young mother of two shot to death two weeks ago is happening now. the boyfriend of stacy aguilar has been arrested and charged with her murder. prosecutors say he shot her and had a friend help him dump her body in fremont. vic lee is live from the funeral home with the story.

>> reporter: the service starts shortly here at the funeral parlor, so far, a dozen, two dozen people are here, mostly family and close friends and stacy aguilar's dad is also here from mexico. this morning was a frustrating one for him, tonight it will be a sad, sad one. stacy aguilar's ashes were encased in a closed casket. her sisters chose purple flowers, her favorite color. on the morning of the service, her accused killer was scheduled to be in court. the 23-year-old shown here in court friday, did not appear at today's hearing. we are sad, very sad her father said afterwards. aguilar had just arrived in the bay area from mexico, on a humanitarian visa. he wanted to see his 22-year-old daughter's accused killer.

>> we're feeling weighed down because we don't know what will happen. they keep changing dates on us. i would like the person or persons responsible to be punished. they took our youngest. >> aguilar's youngest was 22 years old. she was seen in a house party hayward february 13th. her body found in a rural area of fremont. he attended the party with a friend. when taken into custody, he told police that pedraza told him he shot and killed the young woman and that the two men drove her body to fremont and threw it down the hill. police arrested pedrazo but he was in custody on an immigration hold. authorities say he is in the country illegally, and has a criminal history. stacy aguilar's mother could not make the trip here, her father spoke on her behalf.
