we will look at the road work in a few minutes. >> now we get to the breaking news in walnut creek a car flying off of 680, hit as building and traps two people in the car. matt keller is there. how did this happen? >> reggie, five minutes ago the vehicle was towed from the scene. right new construction crews are sweeping up the area. trying to secure the building. it was damned by the vehicle. check out the video, the bmw flew off 680 through a parking lot and hit the building on boulevard circle, wedging itself upside down and barely missed an ambulance. the male driver and female driver were stuck inside and firefighters had to secure the building to make sure it would not 8:00 lap as they rescued the two people. >> we brought our tools to cut both doors off. the vehicle was upside down. the two victims had major injuries.

discovered along the fremont shore. >> and news on the santa clara jail has been negative the sheriff is taking matters into her happens and made a costco run and on her dime bought the security cameras. workers at the jail are installing 12 new cameras. she got them at costco for $60 each. she said she felt compelled to act after learning the county plan for a $20 million system would take two years. >>? there are allegations made against a staff member, we will be able to see it. if there is an assault against a staff member, we can see and it have evidence for court. it is something we should have done all along and i wanted it done now. >> the cameras come four months after the beating death of inmate michael tyree. the cameras are installed in only one housing area but the sheriff said that if it works out, she will buy more. >> if you take bart in the east bay, listen up: two people are facing charges this morning for

stealing from passenger's cars. we were at oakland's lake merritt yesterday as police announce arrests on the theft ring of converters, 23 stolen at bart system-wide in the lots this past month. a station agent at union city bart spotted something suspicious on tuesday. >> the station agent called bart police to report he saw a man under a parked vehicle who appeared to work on car. the male removeed an object from the vehicle. he got into the vehicle with another suspect and drove away. >> the thieves go after the converters because they are easy to steal and can fetch several hundred each from recycling. >> a south bay high school athlete said he got herpes from a wrestling map and he want as weekend tournament pest uponned to protect other students -- postponeed to protect other

students. >> he has sorted all over. he was diagnosed with herpes, a skin infection caused by the virus. he showed the outbreak of leagues on his face, you can see it here. he thinks he contracted it while wrestling at independence high school in san jose last month. he is concerned he could have spread the infection to other wrestlers during recent practice sessions. he wants officials to post person this weekend's state tournament until the incubation period for the athlete is over. >> either they need to be stopped from wrestling other the tournament should be postponeed just trying to prevent this disease from getting to other people. >> it is going to the state tournament, should know of the risks. >> herpes is a lifelong infection that can flare-up after the initial outbreak and it is prevalent in the wrestling community. school officials say wrestlers

unsettled. that means we have scattered light showers from new through tomorrow. then the stronger storms this weekend. we will get a brief break early next week. storm impact scale, our storm impact scale is giving you an idea if the storm is light or severe. this is going to be light less than .25" and light wind. you can see from 5:00 this morning until 9:00 this is scattered showers with light rain turning over to scattered showers and by 4:00 they are over enjoying a quiet everyone. some places may only get a couple of hundredths inches of rain, maybe .1" across the north bay. tomorrow, more chances of showers. especially in the afternoon and evening. the warm air comes back over the neighbor. that will set the stage for the possibility of the storms getting bumped to a "3". with the winds and heavy rain
