out. all the south bay no rain and blue skies almost as we look along 101. a big storm is on the horizon for the weekend. meteorologist mike nicco is tracking that for us. mike? good morning, natasha zouves and kristen. there is a lot of moisture in the air as you can see i need the umbrella if san francisco. there is just not a lost energy to act upon it. we are dealing with drizzle near the coast and man areas in fact from emeryville you can see how low the clouds are and how much drizzle they are dropping. when the cold front came through before it washed out, quarter-inch in santa rosa and the rest us less than .1" and san francisco only .01". with the bright clouds rolling across the bay the deep moisture and the radar returns are few and far between because it is a let level event with a lot of drizzle and a possible shower here and there through 3:00 we will get another chance of a sure at 5:00 and coastal drizzle

passenger seat. the c.h.p. said for some reason the car went off the road on eastbound 24 heading into the northbound 680 connection in walnut creek. it hit a couple of trees, launched into the air, clear add 6' tall chain link fence and lamedded on the roof and crashed through the building barely missing an ambulance in the parking lot with two paramedics inside. the same two paramedics immediately jumped in and provideed medical attention. that is lucky. amazing. a miracle. the owner saw the aftermath. >> you took pictures of the car. it is amazing though could survive with the damage to the car. unplaintiffable. >> the man and woman have major injuryies and taken to the hospital. before the crash 9 car was chase by sheriff deputies. a spokesperson said they called it up a few minute before the crash and another miracle is the time of day. >> the owner of the yoga studio and a class was held in the

secondary space. at 11:49 when the crash happened it was empty one of four red stagged units. tragedy brings people together in a weird way. >> law enforcement said the original traffic stop was for speeding. that led to the chase. the c.h.p. said that it does not appear the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. >> livermore police are investigating a security scare and surprising suicide this morning outside their occupy parking lot. amy hollyfield is at the police department where they just held a news conference. amy? >> yes, kristen, we have learned the name of the man who died here, george bays, 66 years old. he lives here in livermore. they say he shot himself and left behind a suicide note. he did it in a very public way, right on the street next to the police department but also look at what is across the street: officers were worried of their safety, but, also, the safety of

the people living and likely sleeping in that apartment complex on pacific avenue where it happened at 3:00 this morning. an officer was just running here to the station from taking a report from a family about a missing suicidal man. when he get here he recognized the car parked at their station. he approached the car, sought shotguns stepped away and called for backup and heard a blast from inside the car. a second officer arrived. he fired back which is what some residents heard. >> at 3:00 in the morning i heard four gunshots. they were very loud. right here. it was nerve wracking. >> the second officer exited his vehicle and proceeded to fire four rounds into the vehicle. as they believed therapy under-- they were under fire. it was not obvious for a while
