commuters need to hear this morning, something is seriously wrong with bart. trains are getting knocked out of service. amy hollyfield is at the embarcadero station. >> taking trains away does not help a very crowded situation. we look forward to hearing what bart passengers have to say. bart is saying they now have 80 cars that are in the shop. that is because they have electrical problems and the problems are happening in the transbay tube, trains are going east and are getting knocked out of service. officials do not know why. it is a mystery. it worsens this week. on monday, bart lost 40 cars. this comes as ridership is up. they are losing trains. ridership was at a record high in february. the commute is just getting started and early. trains are rolling. we plan to talk to passenger. we will ask about the issue.

stay with us as we bring you that part of the story. we appreciate it. a day after santa clara county sheriff laurie smith installed the cameras she paid for in the jail, a major fight between inmates was caught on camera. the sheriff said it broke out yesterday afternoon in the maximum security unit of the jail in san jose. we told you about the fight on abc7 at 4:00 yesterday. the unit was in lockdown for hours. the sheriff said that in gores were hurt trying to break it up but it is a coincidence it happened in the same area where the new cameras were install on when. the cameras were purchased by the sheriff at costco spend $700 of her own money after learning a county was going to add cameras and it would take two years and $20 million. >> we were in san jose as the judge ruled three former santa clara county deputies will stand
