the stolen car mangled crashing into a concrete poll outside the mall before 5:00 a.m., with the sergeant saying it all started when someone in the crystal springs neighbor called police to report someone trying to break into cars. an officer spotted them and the two male suspects sped off southbound. >> they were throwing stuff out the window so they were victimizing people. >> they hit another car and slammed into the pole both taken into custody and to the hospital where they are being treated for injuries. >> one of temperature has been identified as a 23-year-old from oakland with a long history of violent offends. all the unfortunate part is because of the changes more often than not as the case today we see previous vient offenders committed the property-related crimes. >> is still protecten glass all over the group, with caution tape up. police are still actively investigating what happened. they say only one of the suspects is cooperating and the

other will not tell them his name. thank you. pg&e crews are working on restoring power and re-opening streets in a moraga neighborhood. thousands were affected last night when the sinkhole formed forcing residents to evacuate and businesses to close, this morning there is still a big impact, and amy hollyfield is at center street. amy? >> yes, people had to navigate around this key intersection in moraga where crews are working on the sinkhole. a lot of people spent a lot of time detouring around this only to find that parts of moraga were shut down. >> the morning routine was knocked off kilter in moraga today. from the coffeeship to the post office to the gym to the daycare center, all the basic places that make a morning hum were dark and closed leaving some wondering, what to do next? >> i don't know. weeing figure it." i teach at st. mary's so i

we need it. >> they are blaming weather for this, and some saying it looks like a storm drain eroded and the fix could take a while getting down there to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it and patch it up with some saying this intersection could be closed for weeks. a few miles from the sinkhole moraga is dealing with another big problem, a landslide threatening homes near the country club. homeowners say the hill behind their homes started slide on tuesday and two home are threatened and the people inside have to evacuate. they blame east bay mud which owns the minimum side for not doing more after a small landslide several months ago. they were at scene yesterday putting tarps on the ground to keep rain from washing away more soil and will bring out an engineer to evaluate what happens next. >> in pacifica, a sinkhole

the 35-year-old was hit by a car that last criminal on westbound 80. he was with c.h.p. office for six years. >> in discovery bay investigators are trying to figure what caused a crash that last two people and one critically hurt with two cars colliding east of old river bridge last night. a car went into the ravine with three adults and two children, two adults died. the children were rescued. it is believed everyone from the car is from stockton and the adult in the other car was critically injured. >> fire exploded from a boarded up building in the mission distribute overnight in san francisco. you can see how big the flames were causing the building to fall off. firefighters have been to the election before, the fire at 22nd and mission broke out at midnight and it took an hour and a half to get under criminal fight through mounds of debris inside the building and they still have not found a cause. >> barred up and it should have
