clouds advance throughout the day today. that means a stronger on shore push, a cooling trend. yes, we have rain to talk about. two systems headed our way in the next 48 hours. i'll plan out your weekend and tell you how much rain to expect coming up. chris. >> thank you. developing news overseas. we are learningna details about the airline they're crashed in southern russia, killing all 62 people on board. investigators found one of the plane's flight recorders. it was coming from dubai. surveillance video captured what is believe to be the moment the crash happened. it burst into flames. there's no official cause but investigators say one likely factor was a strong wind gusting to near hurricane level. most of the passengers on board were russian and four children were among those killed. the plane crashed about 800 feet short of the runway. back home in the bay area, the search is on for a groper. police say a man inappropriately touched a young girl onboard a

public bus. tiffany wilson has the story from san mateo. >> take a look at this man. he's accused of touching a 17-year-old girl shortly after 7:00 a.m. tuesday. he boarded the bus at first and south b and then sat down next to her. >> he did several things that made her uncomfortable, touched her leg, put his arm around her several times and touched her face. >> the suspect repeatedly told her to stop. she hold him to stop he didn't. it continued until he got off the bus near a shopping center. known on the bus was aware. the riders are disgusted by the suspected alleged actions. >> it's not okay to invade someone's face. >> she is 17 years old, the same age as the victim. >> i've had a few men give me certain looks, but i've never had anyone come at me.

in san mateo county, abc7 news. >> and the family has started a petition to make these mattresses safer. there's a link on our website, abc7news.com. all right. time now is 5:14. a fran woman filed a federal class action lawsuit claiming starbucks restaurants underfilled their lattes. they said the coffee giant is trying to save money on milk. the company's policy is to believe a quarter inch between the foam and the lip of the club and the cups are smaller than advertised and starbucks is short changing their customers to save millions of dollars. the lawsuit seeks $5 million to split between customers who sign on to the suit. starbucks issued a statement saying the complaint is without merit the head of the u. c. system announced new steps to address sexual harassment and sexual acaught. it includes mandatory sexual

napa 52 and fairfield and concord waking up to the low 50s. livermore about 51. finally from emeryville, plenty. clouds. hopefully you enjoyed the sun and the mild temperatures the last couple of days. mist and drizzle this morning. maybe a few areas of fog. spring arrives tonight's. and we will be looking as spring-like weather the second half of the upcoming work week. its going to take some time to warm up, and two light storm systems beginning tomorrow and another one on its heels. also bringing sierra snow. we a talked about the miracle march, how much rain we needed and what is typical for the month. over three inches is what is typical in san francisco. we received over six inches and a couple other locations doing well also with over an inch above the average in livermore. and just about that in san jose. so with this added rain, doesn't look like we will see a lot in the south bay, but still we continue to rate our storm systems from one to five. the next couple systems will be

a one on the storm impact scale. anywhere from a tenth to a third of an inch with the light wind. here is how it looks at tomorrow at about 8:00. the north bay maybe looking at a few showers. that should be the case around 11 is:00. then it begins to sink to the south and east. 1:00, you can see the scattered showers in the south bay and then things quiet down on sunday. this system bringing a little bit more in the way of snow monday night in the sierra nevada. so by monday afternoon you can see scattered showers all around the bay. and we will add up the two systems. first one just a quarter inch to a third of an inch in the north bay. maybe a tenth in the south bay. then by monday night, still, just a quarter inch for hayward and perhaps a little more than that in oakland. but could see upwards of 10 inches above 5,000 feet. second system is colder. 7 inches around kirkwood and five inches donner with the cloud cover. 68 in morgan hill. the accuweather seven-day forecast, we will look for

>> good morning. a mile and a quarter visibility from half moon bay. we have a little fog in napa and some mist and drizzle. there's a front on the way. could see a few sprinkles out there. but overall we are waiting for two weak systems to drop down from the gulf of alaska. so with that, we aren't looking at a whole lot of moisture, but still plenty of clouds today and the south winds ahead of the front keeping it quite mild. starting out in the cooler locations, 47 san ramon. 54 san jose. you see how low the clouds are. we have the low clouds, and then some higher clouds. so all in all making for a mostly cloudy afternoon. temperatures ranging from the upper 50s half moon bay, low 60s san francisco. and around the bay 51 oakland,

68, 69 in san jose. and mid-and upper 60s inland. we will talk about the rain chances in a few minutes. chris. >> lisa, thank you. new this morning, the fatherful france train hero spencer stone is facing charges for his alleged involvement in an arson fraud scheme. they are accused of collecting more than $1 million in insurance money collected from seven fires in sacramento. stone is charged with 13 counts of male and wire fraud. investigators sale he consulted and assisted the two other men with insurance claims. captured, one of the most wanted suspects catch the paris terrorist attacks is in custody. security forces cornered salah abdeslam just yards away from his family's home in brussels, belgium. he's wounded, but alive. alex is in brussels where it all went down. heavily armed s.w.a.t. teams moved in. residents running for cover. one of the world's most wanted men is cornered on this brussels street. salah abdeslam, believed to be the man in the hooded sweatshirt, dragged off the pavement by police. shot in the leg, you see him limping as they force him into the car. the special forces training their guns on nearby buildings, looking for possible accomplices. an ambulances whisked abdeslam away to the hospital. now in custody and guarded by masked men. the 26-year-old abdeslam was the only survive of the group of terrorists who carried out the highly coordinated paris attacks that claimed 137 lives. a friend represented the car that drove a team of suicide bombers to the soccer stadium. a match between germany and frances was underway and interrupted by the powerful blasts. he rented the car who dropped off a gunman at a theater with

an american band was performing, freezing in fear as shocks raining out. and a pregnant woman hang out the window, begging for help. not far away, abdeslam's brother opened fire on this cafe and later detonated a suicide vest. the chaos captures in this " daily mail" video. there was another attack planned for the night but he got cold feet. he called two friends in belgium asking to be picked up. this surveillance video was taken at a frances gas station before he slipped across the border into belgium, where his brother later spoke with reporters. >> we do not know where he is, he said. in the months that followed a massive manhunt. belgian authorities conducting more than 100 raids, arresting more than 58 people. his friends cold abc news he was trying to get to syria. >> but it turned out the fugitive was hiding out out for at least part of the time right

drones and model airplanes are banned from flying 1 above 400 feet or within five miles of an airport up, up and away. a spacecraft carrying the next residents of the international space station arrived early this morning. the soyas space capsule blasted off from kazakstan yesterday. their mission will last six months. san francisco-based uber is rejecting a proposal that will allow it to operate at the world's busiest airport. officials at hearts field-jackson international airport say they need to go through a background check before letting them arrive on site. they said its not possible to arrive sufficient operations under the proposal and is not in step with other airports a jury awarded former pro wrestler hulk

and both bringing just a little bit of snow to the sierra nevada. so we will start our forecast animation this morning with the low clouds. you can see all the way out toward the delta. and then by 9:00 not only will these begin to evaporate and lift, but more clouds move in. a mostly cloudy day. could see a sprinkle here or there along the coast in the north bay, but overall it's the system we are looking at tomorrow. widespread showers. statewide more sunshine to the south of us with low 70s in los angeles. 77 in press no. 70 chico. the storm impact scale where we rate the systems 1 to 5 becomes relevant because we are looking at a weak system, anywhere from a tenth to a third of an inch in the north bay with light winds and another one behind this one. another number 1. as we look at sunday afternoon is 1:00, rain showers in the north bay. they will slowly sink to the south and kind. fall apart with that system.
