around 70 around oakland. >> is an 8-year-old shot in the east bay. this morning we are learning he is out of surgery and expected to survive. the drive-by shooting happened at la salle avenue and carmel drive in concord. police are still looking for the suspect. here's abc7 news reporter melanie rooted degree. >> concord police say the 8-year-old was playing in front were his own home when he was shot in his upper body. >> two white males in a silver honda drove up to the residence and sounded like they fired one single shot. >> you can see investigators with with flash lights searching for evidence. accomplices say they do not know if the home was targeted but they say they are familiar with

fairview near sacramento police. police say a man was alone inside the home. they sent out an alert around 11:30 last night saying the 1500 block of fairview has been cleared. no word on what caused the conflict or why it started. we have new details this morning on a fatal robbery in san francisco. in this security video a man dashes into the street, desperately trying to escape his attacker. but the robber catches up and stabs the victim in the head. the victim is 44-year-old paul tamm. he died thursday after hanging on for a full month after the attack. abc7 news reporter sergio quintana said the police association is now offering a $5,000 reward in the case. >> here's the surveillance video. you see the victim trying to get away from the attacker. he runs around an oncoming car but seems to trip and that's when the armed robber pounces. >> he was carrying an unknown

of the pairs. >> a burglar broke into the home of a san francisco sheriff's deputies and stole his gun and star. it happened yesterday morning the visitation neighborhood. they took two magazine clips, a radio and a deputy duty belt. the gun and ammunition was in a lock box but the entire box was stolen. another star belonging to a san francisco police officer was stolen. another officer in custody this morning. they say he has been fencing car parts for years. he's accused of possessing tens of thousands of dollars of car parts related to a chop shop. they tell us if green is convicted, he faces more than five years in prison. >> officer tyson green has been a santa clara police officer for 14 years. i lives in los gatos, and the

district attorney's office said he's been dealing in car parts. >> four chevrolet engines were recovered from his garage. >> and they found more than a dozen car computers. the parts are worth more than $735,000. an auto theft task force began investigating him last january. that's when a man tried buying an engine from him on craig's list but became suspicious and called law enforcement. they said all the parts are from stolen carts taken from the bay area the last two years. >> anytime we have a person from law enforcement who we trusted, the public has entrusted to protect and serve, it's incredibly disappointing to see an individual from that community let the community as a whole down. >> the santa clara police chief released a statement saying in part this is not a true reflex of the hardworking men and women of this department that serve and protect our community. but officer green's arrest

follows two others last year n may sergeant was arrested for allegedly exposing himself. and another was arrest the for shoplifting a watch from a san jose target store. in san jose, katie marzullo, abc7 news. >> now to an i-team follow-up. last year dan noyes exposed a marin county gym own who are used fake military medals to get money for his business. his exclusive investigation led jim allen instead really court to face charges that he lied about winning that two purple hearts and a bronze star. he pleaded not guilty. this is a real investment who was in court. >> i know a lot of people who have earned rewards and paid a hear price for them. and this guy is just a fraud. >> allen is facing a year in jail and a $100,000 fine. he will be back in court in may.

along the coast drop into the upper 50s with more 60s around the bay. so we will look for the coolest day here on monday. you will notice the 70s are out of the picture and we are still look at 50s at the coast and a couple areas of cloud cover. so if you are headed up into the mountains, you will notice that it will be much cooler then and the cool-down really -- we will really come out of it by tuesday. in terms. look ahead you notice san jose with 70s today. the cool-down tomorrow into monday, and then suddenly warming temperatures. how about livermore? similar. we spoke of low 70s there. upper 60s for easter with lower 60s monday and tuesday. so highs around the bay today with 73 in san jose. look for 69 in redwood city. in san francisco it will be breezy with 66 there. on the coast a little cooler, 73 up in the north bay with 730 in oakland. fremont warming to 71, as well as union city today. and inland one spot should be antioch, 76 degrees.
