sun come up, that happens at 7:02 under cloudy skies. low to made a 50s. by 10:00 we will be in the low 60s the rest of the day featuring some breezy winds and temperatures ranging from the 50s at the coast to nearly 760 inland. we will detail the rest your easter and a look ahead coming up. chris. >> thank you. now to developing news in burlingame where two people were shot outside of a hotel. it happened last night outside the red roof inn on airport boulevard around 10:30. there are several hotels in this area which is a few miles south of san francisco international airport. two victims, both men in their 20s, he ran into a restaurant and asked for help. both of them are expected to survive. concord police are still looking for a man accused in a drive-by shooting that injured an 8-year-old boy. it happened friday night near the intersection of lasalle and carmel. the young boy is still in the hospital. the boy was not the target.

>> concord police are looking for this man, 32-year-old james jarrard. he's considered armed and dangerous. >> he fired a handgun at a group of individuals with children playing in the front yard, which is reckless. so he's highly dangerous. >> police say several people witnessed the shooting, including the 8-year-old victim's young brothers, who were also playing in the front yard. the family did not speak to me on camera, but they did take they know jarrard by his nickname, smiley. they also tell me the intended victim was not the child, but his brother, who was also in the front yard that evening. the bullet passed through the other boy's wards leg and hit the 89-year-old in the neck. >> it got so close to to the car the otid=/% artery. he's doing really good according

parking lot at around 8:30 last night. witness say the driver was burning rubber before the crash. the search continues for a man and woman want ford a title robbery of a tourist in san francisco. this is surveillance video of the attack at franklin and post. police say the victim refused to let go of his messenger bag and ran into police trying to escape his attacker but the robber caught up and stabbed the victim in the head. police officers association is now offering a $5,000 reward in the case. victim is 44-year-old palatum. he died of are his injuries on thursday, just more than a month a the attack. police say tam is from manchester, england, and was visiting san francisco with relatives from irvine. after a bleak week, pope francis is offering is easter message of hope today after a vigil service in saint peter's basilica.

to go to the golden gate bridge today. bridge authorities closed two parking lots for part of the weekend, hoping to help with traffic flow but it seems to have backfired. lisa amin gulezian has the story. >> this is what drivers faced, traffic, as they approached the golden gate bridge. ronic signs warned drivers that welcome center and vista point lots were closed until 5:00 p.m. otherwise only buss and taxis were allowed. >> i don't know why they did that. crazy. >> the goal was to ease congestion by pushing drivers to avoid the route all together. unfortunately the opposite happened. >> well, the welcome center parking lot was off-limits, the overflow parking lot that was used that got filled up fast and caused gridlock all around the toll plaza. >> if they are going to close this, then they have to have a second option and have tourists be aware of what the option is, instead of having them circle around and thinking they are going to get parking here. >> it's confusing.

washington square park yesterday where kids and their families took a springtime stroll with the easter bunny. this, after a pain cake breakfast. both were in honor of a resident who dressed like the easter bunny every year for 50 years to visit sick kids in the hospital. it started in ricoh's outdoor cafe, now the site of naked lunch. the first tame he wore the suit for customers, no one came because it rained. >> that started 50 years of going to every san francisco hospital to bring happiness to the kids. a child would raise his head and look at their parents and say, see mommy, see, daddy, i knew he would find me. >> the family has honored ray the last two years with the new easter brunch and parade tradition. excited children searched high and low at a house in oakland for the annual great egg hunt.

around but we will be looking at most of the activity in the sierra nevada. east of the bay area and the gusty winds on the coast. here's a look at the front. it's bearing down on the pacific northwest. and it's going to slide over eastern california. so as a result, we are looking a the a winter weather advisory for reno. and around south lake looking at anywhere from three inches. and kiefer is 5 inches of snow. this is through tuesday with a couple inches right around south lake. today temperatures there will still be mild, but this will be the last day. dropping a good 20 degrees in the sierra nevada today compared to tomorrow. and our temperatures will drop another ten degrees for your monday. 53 right now in san francisco. it's 54 for you in mountain view, morgan hill and half moon bay. good morning. 56 in san jose. 54 seems to be the most typical temperature in the mid-50s around the peninsula, and the crowds around this morning with upper 40s santa rosa. winds are calm there but at the

airport they are gusting to 22 miles an hour. low 50s for livermore. we are looking at right now sfo where you can see all the cloud cover. low clouds this morning. cooler for easter. cooling continues into tomorrow. as we take a look at the statewide forecast, you will notice still in the 50s but cloudy skies northern sierra, and 70s in southern california. tomorrow cooler and breezy. greens, 50ss at the coast. very little change into tuesday. and then as we look beyond tuesday temperatures really begin to rebound. so they are bottoming out tomorrow with temperatures -- this is san jose -- at average today and coming up slowly. in fact, above average by the end of the work week as high pressure builds back in. in terms of the high temperatures today, you will notice those upper 50s at the coast. the cold front pushing through little bay area later on today, allowing for the winds to gust to some 20 miles an hour. and with that, another piece of energy tomorrow and the winds could gust upwards of 30 miles

>> it's sunday, march 27th. good morning and thanks so much for joining us. i'm chris nguyen sitting in for carolyn tyler. let's start with a quick look at the weather. here's lisa argen. she's tracking live doppler hd >> good morning. for some of you celebrating easter, it should be are a nice afternoon. although we have changes weather-wiseful we are looking at a few clouds right now a mostly cloudy start. theres a weather system coming down from the north that will increase the clouds today in the sierra nevada, bring down cooler temperatures by the afternoon. and the winds are going to get quite gusty along the coast. right now it's the opposite. we are mild ahead of the front with 50s pretty much all around bait except in the north bay. we have calm winds here. the breezy winds will begin throughout the later morning hours. and we will look for the numbers to do an about-face later on. 11 degrees warmer this morning in livermore with 6 degrees warmer in san jose. you are really going to have some time at the coast to feel the change today. tomorrow everyone feels the change. the sun coming up at 7:02. it's cloudy out there
