foreign affairs confirms that the hijacker has been taken into custody. this is new video you saw of the three people we one down the stairs of the aircraft. another person fought seen was said to have escaped through the window. this starts when jury jury flight 181 was on domestic route from alexandria to cairo and the pilot said that the hijacker forced him to land in cypress. 52 passengers were released during negotiations. they were seen walking toward the bus to be taken to the terminal. authorities say this was not an act of terrorism. they think the hijacker was bluffing when he said he was wearing an explosive belt and the motive was personal and the situation was resolve when the hijacker was able to speak to his, -- his ex-wife eight americans were among the hostages held on flight 181. so far we no of no injuryies.

>> we have breaking news from cyrus where a hostage situation is now over after a man high, squad an egyptair jet. >> good morning. i am reggie aqui. >> i am natasha zouves. janet is in the newsroom with new information. >> yes, the situation is now under control. this is a tweet sent by the ministry of foreign affairs confirming that it is over, the hijacker was arrested. seif eldin mustafa was taken into custody but the remaining seven hostages were released before he was taken into custody. they made their way down the aircraft stairs a total of 55 passengers were on the flight including eight machines. the flight was headed from level why to cairo and the pilot said the hijacker forced him to land 30 minutes after take off. the cypress president said the motive was personal. ait is not something that has to do where terrorism.
