freeway, mine our own business and we will catch a stray bullet not intended for us. the latest freeway shooting happened last night in pittsburg. police say around 8:30, a car crashed. just off westbound highway four. all the subject had been shot at least once. he is deceased. he came east freeway and collided with a fence. >> it is possible that the shot came from someone on the highway. that would make this the 18th freeway shooting in the bay area since last year. look at the map to get an idea of where this is happening. alameda and con cop county -- and contra costa county with 11. >> horrible. on the friend. we have thousands of motorists. all the lieutenant say that because it is a regional problem, different agencies are working together through the safe streets task first to stop the shooting. they are not random attacks. >> most of the shootings have ties with gangs mostly from

richmond. >> this is frustrating and unsettled to drivers who worry about getting caught in the cross fire. >> they have problems, take it where there are no other people or bystanders or kids. it is a huge problem. >> police say drivers do not have too much to worry about. if you see aggressive drive, move out of the way and call 9-1-1. >> if you see someone drive aggressively, that could be a signal some might occur. say away from the consider. dial 9-1-1. >> why is this happening on the freeway? investigators say they think it is it is a crime of opportunity, they see someone they feud with and they happen at night under the cover of darkness with no arrests made from the shooting last night. >> a crash crippled the morning commute in union city at 880

where a big-rig crashed on the center divide. 880 was closed in both directions leading to a massive backup. southbound lanes re-opened before 8:00 and we just got word that all northbound lanes are now on, as well, and traffic is moving. >> remark is moving again along 280 in south san francisco after this crash that also really slowed the drivers this morning. sky 7 was over the freeway north of the boulevard. it happened at 5:30 this morning and involved several cars. the c.h.p. tells us one people was taken to the hospital with meaner injuries. if you get a chance to get outside and injury the weather, take it. look at this, a look from sutro tower camera show as gorgeous golden gate bridge. soon rain will return so a change is coming and we will check with meteorologist mike nicco for the timeline. >> thank you. it feels great outside. unless you have allergies. we will try to bring rain in, and temper that.

get to 9:00, grab a light jacket in upper 50s to let 60. the tree pollen is high. grass pollen is what we really have seen jump up this week, mold spores are dropping and it is dry, and the u.v. index is high even with the high clouds. tonight at game, at&t park is fairly comfortable 64 at 6:15 dropping down to 60 by the end of regulation. tonight, with the cloud cover, the marine layer is rolling in and a lot of low-to-mid 50s out this and, again, a chance of scattered showers. very light as we head to tomorrow afternoon. friday, by midnight you can see the scattered showers in the north bay at 4:00 in the morning to start the commute and scattered showers and same at 9:00, and by noon, all the way through 3:00, they move out and leave us with less than quarter-inch unless you are up in the north bay mountains.
