a massive search for a missing girl with an ending everyone hoped for. i'm eric thomas. thank you for joining us. we begin with developing news. a full-scale search for a missing teen from solano county end a short time ago win she was found safe. cornell bernard is live in vacaville with details. >> reporter: good news. she was found safe and sound, not far from her home in downtown fairfield. she appears to be okay. the search for her was happening here in vacaville's lagoon valley park, about seven miles away. she was considered an at-risk missing teenager with mental issues. police say she left home to walk

her dog last night about 7:00 p.m., and never came back. there was a full-scale search with search teams from the bay area and the central valley looking for the girl. her dog was located this morning okay by a hiker. the dog was tied to a tree here in lagoon valley park. unknow how the dog got here. police are happy that hailey is okay but have a lot of questions. >> there are number of questions. obviously a lot has happened since 7:00 last night, and there's strange circumstances here. so, our investigators are going to talk to her, find out what happened, make sure there was no criminal activity involved in the last 21 hours. >> reporter: police say they were concerned because her parents say she had never gone missing before. totally out of character, say her parents, but her parents no doubt breathing a big sigh of relief that their daughter was found safe. live in vacaville, abc7~news.

>> thank you. the man accused of killing 15-year-old sierra lamar of morgan hill in 2012 has demanded his murder trial begin within 60 days. torres previously behaved the constitutional right but withdrew the waiver in court yesterday, demanding that jury selection begin by june 20th. the 60th day. his trial was tentatively scheduled to begin this month, but because his lawyers are busy with other case it was expected to be moved to early fall. the body has not been found. firefighters rushed to the cone of a man trapped inside a burning building in oakland. emergency responsiblers took a 50-year-old man to the hospital today following this fire. the video provided by the fire department. the fire was reported around 7:00 this morning in a two-story house. crews had to use a ladder to rescue a man from the second story. investigators are still trying to determine what started that fire. the pioneer of around the world flight being flown by an airplane that runs slowly on the

sun's rays has arrived near the golden gate. you're looking live at sky 7hd as it shows us solar impulse 2, circling over the pacific, close to san francisco bay, following its historic journey from hawai'i. it's halfway when the golden gate and the farallon island. the plane is fueled entirely by solar power, not a drop of fossil fuels. you may remember solar impulse 2 was grounded in hawai'i since july to fix overheat heated batteries. this is video of one of the two pilots at the controls, swiss explorer on a mission to circumnavigate the world. the plane is scheduled to conduct fly-byes around the golden gate from now until 8:00 this evening. the plane is scheduled to lap at moffet field in mountain view at midnight. it took off from hawai'i on thursday. its cruising speed is 28 miles an hour. an advisory for bart passengers. there is no train service this weekend between the san leandro

and bay fair station. it's the third of six weekend closures. bart crews are repairing equipment and tracks. bart is running a bus bridge for passengers but delays are likely. the timeline for the project has been extended and is now scheduled for three more weekends through june 19th. starting this weekend, muni is expanding service. trains and buses will now arrive more often. 20 lines are getting more frequent service. eight will see expanded service hours. and additional buses will begin at 1:00 in the morning and run to the bay view and from mill valley to third street. muni says the change in service is in response to the city's increasing population. one bay area school district in desperate need of teacherses is hosting a major job fair find them and offering incentives to hire them. the school district is offering

there's a line of cloud cover moving in overnight tonight, and associated with an area of low pressure that is just beginning to move onshore near seattle, and what that area of low pressure is going to do is called an inside slider. not going to move over the bay area. going to move right to the east. unfortunately, that's not a rainmaker for us, what it will do is produce late-season snowfall in the sierra and also kick up our wind are for the weekend. wind gusts tomorrow morning the winds generally gusting over 30 miles-per-hour along the coastline-around the bay, pretty light. around 15 to 20 miles-per-hour but they will pick up in the afternoon and the evening around the bay. we expect winds between 15 and 30 miles-per-hour but look right along the coast, going to be rather breezy with winds gusting over 40 miles-per-hour at times. your sunday planner looks like this, first off, limit sunshine. clouds clearing late. so by the afternoon, more in the way of sunshine, very similar setup to today in terms of cloud cover. we'll get into the 50s along the coast, of 0s in the bay

good evening. i'm mike shumann live in houston. of course as we get ready for game four between the rockets and the warriors tomorrow. now, steph curry missed games two and three and been out for seven days. participated in a full scrimmage today and has the green light to go. >> still get some treatment, and do what i need to do to get ready for the game tomorrow, and warm up, and as long as it continues to feel like does right now and not have any setbacks after practice today shy be good. >> head coach steve kerr was messed with steph's progress after a full scrimmage today in practice. >> i think he'll be fine. hard to tell how many minutes he'll play, how well he'll play. who knows. but got a lot of confidence in his game, and i think the last two days have given him confidence in hills body and that's important.

>> steph's rhythm and conditioning will be the rust factor in game four. >> it's possible be able to hopefully find my second wind pretty quick tomorrow. so i don't foresee that being an issue going forward. >> throughout the game, his conditioning and keeping an eye on that? >> the conditioning and the rhythm, after being off that long, is an issue but we'll monitor that, and steph doesn't take too long to get his rhythm back generally, so i think he'll be fine. >> all the concern he may re-injury the ankle coming back too soon. >> it's stable. it's -- no swelling or anything so i can do everything i need to do. >> i don't think there's any way steph curry does not play tomorrow in game four. now, i'm in rick quan's home found of houston, so let's throw it back to rick and let him give the rest of the day in sports.
