latest came in march. we get confirmation this morning, just before 9:00, sheriff deputies were called here by an a people security. sheriff deputies found a person's body inside a conference room and i confirmed the person is a man and a gun was found next to his body. apple representative would not comment only saying they are letting the sheriff talk about the investigation. no confirmation yet on in the person is an employee. we have seen employees going in and out so the investigation must be limited to a small portion of the building and we expect to get an update from the sheriff's spokesman soon. >> the insurance accident comes as the company stocks are struggling after a disappointing aroundings report, the first ever drop in iphone sales, with shares falling more than 8% in hours after the news. apple's revenue is down roughly 13% from this time last year marking the first year-over-year

sales drop since 2003. >> in pacifica, two school campuses were closed this morning because of a shooting in the area. this impacted the high school and an elementary school. official say students were not in any danger. police say the victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. there is in sign of the shooter. >> we are tracking rain this midday as showers are popping up all over the bay area. we were at the park san francisco as the downpour started around 9:30 near fulton in the western ed addition neighborhood. >> the rain also impacted drivers heading into san francisco this morning and this cell phone video shows how hard it was coming down 280 at the exit before 10:00 a.m. not far from at&t park. giants fans are battling the rain with 12:45 first pitch. the east bay is seeing showers,

a.m. someone driving in a bmw on westbound 580 in dublin near the on-ramp was rear ended and killed. all the big-rig for unknown reason rear ended the back of a bmw and i am hearing speeds between 40 and 50 miles per hour with no braking application. all the bmw slammed into the car in front it and that dome knee affect -- domino affect continued with five cars three bursting and flames. thick black smoke filled the air and the morning commute came to a halt. all but two haynes were shut down for three hours creating a backup that stretched at least 30 miles long. >> this will affect traffic all day on 580, so i am hearing it is backed up to tracy. eight others were hurt but walked away with minor injuries. officers do not know why the bmw

slowed down but it is typical. >> it is stopped here every day, a major area for commuters and people who drive each day would know it comes to a stop in this area. c.h.p. has not released information on the driver who was killed. officers are interviewing the driver of the big-rig to figure out why he crashed. >> this morning, bart is bringing if you details on why a brand new rail car, part of the "fleet of the future," crashed and a pile of debris last week, training operator on the new car when a door closed on a wire, crimping it, and disableing auction ail later power cutting power to the brakes despite efforts to step the train. you can see what happened this, the train ran into a sand pit at the end of a test track in hayward. the agency said in the car were coupled to other cars the brakes on the other cars would have
