flash bangs as they converged on the house which faces busy capital expressway. they took numerous people into custody and large bags of what appeared to be cash. neighbors we spoke to said this was not the first time. >> a year ago the house was busted for drugs and gambling. they cleaned it out. and a few weeks later they were back in business. >> reporter: this neighbor who did not want to be identified lives right in back of the house. >> they busted two people in my backyard, and other people i don't know if they came over our fence or not. >> reporter: the neighbor told us those who ran threw evidence all over her yard. >> i think slotted dice, some poker chips. we had poker chips and dice all over the backyard. >> reporter: all police will say is that it was a peaceful ending and they're interviewing a lot of people right now. vic lee, abc 7 news. a man accused of child molestation in santa clara

county has been arrested in roseville. james mcneely carroll is accused of molesting children from 1980 to 1997 while he lived in santa clara and sunnyvale. the 54-year-old is a teacher at horizon county charter schools. he is charged with six counts of molestation. anyone with more information is asked to contact santa clara police. a san jose high school sports coach is under arrest accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old boy. 21-year-old lock nguyen of san jose is charged with annoying or molesting a child. nguyen was the assistant badminton coach at san jose high. police say he was dating a student at the school. authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with 23 takeover-style robberies since early march. police say they arrested the three trying to rob a san francisco bar on friday. nine of the robberies have been in berkeley. businesses in san francisco, san leandro, albany, oakland and hayward were also targtsed.

the suspect would hit restaurants after closing time. surveillance video helped catching the group after friday's break-in. in san jose, new information on a crime that has shocked everyone who knew a couple found murdered in their home. the bigger shock, their two sons are accused of the killing. this is the oldest of the two, 22-year-old ha zesib golam rabb. his 17-year-old brother is also under arrest. chris nguyen is live in san jose tonight at the hall of justice. chris? >> reporter: the oldest son has been booked into the county jail and will make his first court appearance tomorrow, dan. the youngest son is now over at juvenile hall. meanwhile, we spoke to family members today. they say they are absolutely stunned and can't believe that something like this happened. on lucas court in san jose, a neighborhood forever changed. >> to be killed by anyone outside not related to you is bad already, like someone kill you live. but to be killed by your own kids. >> reporter: a husband and wife found murdered over the weekend

and now police say it's their two sons who committed the act. 22-year-old hasib go neighbors are trying to make sense of it all. >> it makes me sad because you look at the picture of the couple, and they look so happy. >> reporter: police have yet to release a motive for the killings but many wonder what would lead the two brothers to shoot and kill their parents. sources tell us disturbing messages were left at the scene which could help investigators determine what exactly went wrong. >> we don't know what happened. we don't know why. >> reporter: outside the rabbi family home, more flowers have been added to this small yet growing memorial. >> it is a relief. people can have some peace now. >> reporter: tomorrow friends will gather at a local mosque to reflect and remember the two victims and then family members will bury them at the five

pillar cemetery in livermore. neighbors continue to express their shock and disbelief. >> it's not representative of this area at all, which is a very safe and marvelous place to live. >> reporter: community members now seeking out some closure. in san jose, chris nguyen, abc 7 news. in palo alto, tracking software on a smartphone helped police catch four men accused of stealing a delivery truck filled with new clothing. police say vicente ramirez, carlos zune, jorge gonzales and anthony lopez took the truck last thursday. tens of thousands of dollars in clothes headed for gap stores was on board. a delivery truck employee left his phone inside the truck, allowing police to track it to a coffee shop where officers say they found the men unloading the clothes into a van. police are still looking for a fifth man who ran away. in the north bay, somebody used a machete to threaten another person whose dog

apparently defecated in public. marin county sheriff's office tweeted this picture of the machete this afternoon. they say it happened in a community called dogtown. police arrested the machete waver. they followed it up with in picture with the caption "only in marin." >> what a picture. call it an urban bird rescue. egress and herons that can't survive in oakland are being picked up by special teams and taken to a rehab center in fairfield. laura anthony is live with some of the rescued birds. >> reporter: that's right, dan. we are inside this enclosure here at the international bird rescue center in fairfield. these are just some of the young herons that have been rescued in recent weeks. some l broken wings, bruises. all of that after falling from trees in downtown oakland. it's a scene of natural beauty. snowy egrets and blacked crown herons nesting in the tree on a

sunny spring day. except in downtown oakland it's also a setting that's proved perilous. >> we're really just trying to help manage having urban wildlife in our city. >> reporter: that's why the golden gate -- society is helping. >> it's natural for some birds to fall out of their nests but it's not natural to hit hard concrete. they can't get back up in the trees because they're pruned so tall. they're getting run over by cars. >> reporter: a team from the oakland zoo is the first to respond once volunteers spot a bird in distress. >> some of them are hurt from the fall so they'll take a look to see if they need immediate attention or need to be held. if they need to be fed. but ideally we get them right to the rescue center. >> so this guy is from oakland. he actually had a fractured wing. >> reporter: at fairfield's international bird rescue center, the animals are assessed for injuries and overall condition. >> his whole side is all really bruised. >> it's hard falling out of trees and landing on concrete. we've seen broken wings. we've had a couple of leg

san mateo and all the bay area. this is abc 7 news. happening now, it's nfl draft day in chicago and all eyes are on cal quarterback jared goff, expected to be first or second overall pick. the los angeles rams traded to get the first pick. abc 7 news reporter wayne friedman is live at memorial stadium at uc berkeley, where goff made his name. and of course he grew up in marin. >> reporter: he did indeed. a huge day for a bay area son. inside that stadium right now in the restaurant, the cal football team has gathered around a wide screen waiting to see how this thing will go. it's a big deal for this football team and for this program. let's talk first with ray had sen who was his roommate for two dwreers. >> it's fun to see because i've seen the sacrifices he's made every day. i fook it for granted, but it's something i've learned from. it's the ultimate payoff. >> announcer: around the bay it seems everyone has a jared goff

story, not only at uc berkeley especially at marin catholic where he went to high school. there's his picture on the wall, class of 2013. here's the field where he he led his team to a record of 39-4. fellow students and staff here remember jared as being a good student and having a level head win or lose. lauren friedman was the football team's photographer that year. she saw a lot of goff up close. >> he was very quiet, but he took care of his friends and he looked after them and looked after the team. >> reporter: assistant athletic director larry gondola had goff in two classes. he said even at cal jared never forgot his roots. >> last spring he e-mailed me, and i was expecting it to be just something about cal football, right? and he said, gee, i just want to let you know i'm in an economics class at cal with 35 other kids, a group class, and i'm the only one that knows excel. thanks for your class. >> reporter: around the campus,

we'll stay on football for a couple of moments. raiders owner mark davis announced he's willing to move the team to las vegas. davis appeared before a nevada tourism committee and pledged $500 million toward a 65,000-seat dome stadium. 300 million would come from the team and 200 million from the nfl stadium fund. davis has repeatedly said that he'd like to stay in oakland but there's been no progress on a stadium plan. this pledge is a little more than talk. the nevada legislature would have to approve the funding and it doesn't meet until next yeek. plus, any move must be approved by 24 of the nfl's 32 owners. the head of the environmental protection agency was in san francisco today with shopping tips for earth-conscious consumers. abc 7 news was at cole hardware as epa administrator gina mccarthy checked out the new safer choice label, a seal of approval from the epa for cleaning products that have been tested by the agency and don't harm the environment.

police in paris, france, launched tear gas at huge crowds protesting the country's proposed labor laws today. workers staged walkouts to show he their opposition to a labor reform bill that critics argue will erode france's employee protections. sue poertz say it will deal with the country's high unemployment rate and encourage companies to hire. the bill will be debated next week in the french parliament. american women are a step closer to being required to register for the draft. the house armed services committee has narrowly passed a proposal mandating that women must register with the selective

service. right now all men ages 18 to 26 are required to register. women have always been exempt but conditions have changed now that they are allowed to participate in combat roles. the measure now goes to a senate committee for consideration. well, facebook takes security seriously, especially when it comes to ceo mark zuckerberg. in a regulatory filing yesterday, the company revealed it spent $16 million the past five years on planes, personnel and equipment keeping zuckerberg safe. that includes the guards when he's out for a run like this one in china. for comparison, oracle paid $1.5 million to secure larry ellison's home in 2015. amazon paid $1.6 million for jeff bees
