good monday morning, everyone. we're going to start with the race for the white house and president obama putting donald trump in his crosshairs. >> that's right, the president turned his commencement address at rutgers university into a sharp indictment of trump without actually saying his name. he slammed trump for his stance on immigration, muslims and trade and he warned the graduations to shun those who embrace ignorance. >> in the meantime, trump is refuting a blistering report about the way he treats women. we get the latest right now from abc's megan hughes joining us from d.c. good morning, megan. >> reporter: president obama during his remarks at rutgers made it very clear he's not going to be sitting on the sidelines this summer. he's going to be involved in this campaign season. meanwhile, donald trump was at a ceremony himself. donald trump at the university of pennsylvania, attending his daughter tiffany's graduation.

playing the role of father as he's facing attacks for his life as an alleged playboy. 14 of the victims died when a gas plant north of baghdad was hit by a team of suicide bombers. despite the latest attacks the u.s. diplomat in charge of fighting isis says the terror group is losing ground and he adds that isis is leading the -- losing the ideological battle as well. some dramatic scenes overnight from south texas. many streets flooded in corpus christi with stalled vehicles and accidents reported. the flooding was severe enough to float away at least one heavy dumpster. strong winds and hail are also expected along the gulf coast. the ground is as you know already saturated. on the weather radar right now, you can see that storm system spreading from texas eastward into louisiana, and the southern plains. since march 1st, get this -- that region has received two-times to three-times the normal rainfall. and it's an interesting story as far as temperatures go, mid-may temperatures feeling more like march.

possibly record-breaking cold this morning. take a look at some of the numbers, 30s in vermont and western pennsylvania. 40s in new york and mid-40s as far south as raleigh. >> all right, ready for summer. in a bit of a role reversal, police in london had to remove an air marshal from a transatlantic flight. before taking on l.a. u.s. air marshals are not allowed to drink for four hours before a flight. the united airlines flight was delayed two hours because of the incident. the air marshal was released without charges because he hadn't broken any british laws. to the world he to worshipers at a jehovah witness's hall he was brother nelson. they held a private memorial for the artist. hundreds attended the invitation-only gathering, including sheila e. as well as comedian sinbad. prince's family was not there, but his sister says there will be an official memorial for the artist in august. it's been three weeks since queen elizabeth turned 90 but

accusations its trending stories section is biased against the right. and a senate committee looking into facebook's practices. in the meantime the world's largest cruise ship has set sail for the very first time heading to the uk from france as tens of thousands of people waved good-bye to the vessel. it took nearly 3 years and nearly $1 billion to build the "harmony of the seas." the ship's bigger than the eiffel tower if it was laying down. enough cabins for 6300 people. it heads to florida later this year. and at the box office, captain america held off the money monster and the darkness. disney, our parent company, had the top two films this weekend with captain america: civil war outperforming those new release. with nearly $37 million. the ship returns to port this morning. in georgia, a pilot was killed when his stunt plane crashed during an air show near atlanta. witnesses say that biplane was engaged in some kind of maneuver and was unable to pull out of the dive due to high winds at the time. it hit the ground as horrified spectators watched. the faa and ntsb are looking into the incident. a massive cocaine bust are calling colombia's largest drug haul ever. the drugs were found in an undergone hall on a banana farm. three people were arrested. authorities believe the drugs belong to the biggest cocaine trafficking organization in the country. this morning, the worst appears to be over for a northern california community attacked by killer bees. it's believed that the bees became agitated after an amateur beekeeper destroyed their hive in the bay area city. of concord. they're blamed on the death of two dogs and stinging several people. some of those people had to be
