enforcement sources that the residents here, tiffany li was arrested in connection with the murder investigation. one neighbor says the gate was busted open with an armored police vehicle, and officers in body armor swarmed the property. we confirmed threw public records this is the home of tiffany li and she remains in police custody as does a second person connected to the case. several neighbors say at least three people were taken into custody over e overnight but not clear if the people are under arrest. it's been quiet here since daybreak until this afternoon when a woman was dropped off and locked the gate. faints described an intense police situation this morning. >> the police surrounded the house. they were in our yard. they were on a loud speaker, first in english and then mandarin -- they were calling

street from the east mont mall. 12 engines and three fire trucks responded, block away from the nearest fire station. >> firefighters poking at the ceiling and you can see the flames go from, in and from one business to the next. >> reporter: this man watched his business, an easy pay payment center, vanish overnight. also gone, a nail salon and a pharmacy. he salvaged what he could. >> just start all over again, guess. >> firefighters had trouble getting at the heart of this fire, up in the attic, where huge burning billboard collapsed, making roof access all but impossible. another challenge, wrought iron security gates. >> difficult to get into the spaces you need to get to in order to stay ahead of the fire. >> reporter: by dawn the fire was out. an investigation into the cause was launched as crews began mopping up the charred remains. in east oakland, abc7 news.

a driver in philadelphia captured this inusual scene you see here. the blimp is being dragged into a construction yard. the blimp was in the midst of an advertising flight, deflating over a freeway in philly before making an emergency landing, the blame ended up wrapped around a utility pole. the blame had engine problems and was overheating. the pilot and passenger were not hurt. a tight squeeze in los angeles, crew are tow magsive space shuttle fuel tank to a science museum in los angeles. the tank weighs 66,000-pounds and is as tall as 15-story building. lots of planning went into the downy. treesed had to be pruned and some traffic signals swung of

landscape and those clouds give away to light showers this morning, and portions of the region and it was very light in terms of rainfall totals, less than a tenth inch but the earl morning cloud cover gave us a limit to our afternoon highs. it's cool, only in the 60s in most spots. the only exception right along the coast, at half moon bay, 57. south bay, 59. overnight tonight, a fair amount of cloud cover overhead. i still can't rule out a lone isolated shower once again, mid-40s to lower 50s are the name of the game. live doppler 7hd will show you the storm system in the pacific northwest bringing showers to the region and not going anywhere anytime soon. so that means has to bring back the storm impact scale. using this in the winter and spring to rate our storms all season long, gives you a better idea. one is light, and five the most severe. today, light snowstorm, light rain.

before the running of today's preakness the even was marred by tragedy. the first winner of the day, home boy kris, suffered a heart attack while walking back to the barn and died. then during the fourth race. a horse broke her left front leg leg and had to euthanized. nyquist was going for the second jewel of the triple crown. led for much of the race by exaggerator took the lead down the stretch, and would not give it up. nyquist can't keep up and drops back to third, while cherry wine comes in second. exaggerator wins by three and a half links. so unlike last year where american pharoah won the triple crown there will be know such winner this year. the giants are hosting the cubs right now. in the third inning, chicago leads -- trails-2-1. we hope to have highlights at 6:00. eric. >> thank you. apple dares to think differently
