59 concord. liver moor is 56. so it will take time to get rid of that fog along san mateo county coast but as we look out towards east bay valleys, plenty of sun there. low 90s, mid-70s around the bay, partial clearing. 60s at the coast. carolyn? >> one more! let's do what they said we can't do! one more! do what they said we can't do! one more win! >> oh, my, what a game. i'm wearing my warriors blue. the dubs quieted the thunder in o.k.c. forcing a deciding game seven at home at oracle arena tomorrow. the dubs touched down at 2:00. the woirds provided this video of the team getting off the plane after landing back in oakland. golden state will play a first game seven at home in 40 years.

it is tomorrow and the team is encouraging all the fans to arrive early for the game. last night, all eyes were on klay thompson who said an nba playoff record by hitting 11 threes. the splash brothers come up big the entire post-season and last night with o.k.c. focusing so much on mvp steph curry klay needed to do it again. he scored a career high 41 points. he said he's disappoint head only made 11 threes. >> i should have had at least 13. i missed wide-open looks early. i had no idea what the record was. i didn't even know i had 11 threes. i was just trying to be aggressive. it feels good to own the record but i feel much better if we close them out on monday and play with the same toughness and resiliency we did tonight. >> yup, game seven tomorrow night at oracle arena.

center tomorrow. the team is hosting a watch party. tickets are only five bucks. the puckdrops at 5:00 tomorrow night in pittsburgh. we have developing news this morning involving a father and daughter who haven't been seen since leaving the bay area a week ago today. last night sheriff's deputies pound the body of the dad, kyler jackson, in a slough in walnut grove outside sacramento. crews will be back out searching for the water for his one-year-old daughter kaylee and the car they were in. jackson and kaylee left antioch sunday night around 11:00, they were on their way home to sacramento. family members say they never arrived. >> just an answer, finally. it's an answer. not an answer i've been prepared for. i've been out here since day one and i haven't left the spot where i felt i needed to look at. >> crews have located a large object in the water but they

have not confirmed whether it is the car. more developing news this morning. a vallejo family says it's not giving up hope that a missing teenagers is going to be found. pearl pinson was kidnapped on wednesday. the one man who may know where she is was killed in the shootout with police. abc 7 news reporter melanie woodrow spoke with that man's neighbor. >> reporter: investigators saying their strongest lead in the search for 15-year-old pearl pinson has turned up empty. search teams from four counties and california state parks calling off the search in the coastal town of jenner. >> we believe search teams have conducted a thorough search of the area and met the goals we have set and areas we wanted to search. we're confident that pearl is not here. >>. >> the one person who could know pearl's whereabouts is gone. police shot and killed 19-year-old fernando castro after a high-speed chase. they say he abducted pearl near this vallejo foot bridge

wednesday morning. >> we're all in shock because we know he was a good kid. >> reporter: castro's neighbor agreed to speak with abc 7 news if they disguised their identity. >> they were going back and forth. >> reporter: looking for clues castro may have left behind. meantime, pearl's family members continue to walk the foot bridge above interstate 780. >> some of us are very stoic but on the inside they're hurting. even if we stay at this area, we're hoping more and more people will see us. >> reporter: pink balloons and signs line the foot bridge, reminders pearl's family isn't giving up hope while castro's neighbor says his family is grieving. >> shaking. it was shocking. >> reporter: a search producing more questions than answers. in vallejo, melanie woodrow, abc 7 news. >> in stanislav county this

morning, dive teams will resume searching for two teenagers from oakland last seen in a reservoir. deputies in oakdale say the 15-year-olds jumped out of boat into the water. it does not appear anyone in the boat was wearing a life jacket. some fably members were able to get back into the boat but they lost site of the teenagers. a new development in the death of a novato high school student. sheriffs deputies and san rafael police have executed a search warrant in connection with the shooting and stabbing near novato high school wednesday. authorities are still searching for a third suspect. the victim has been identified as 17-year-old edwin ramirez guerra from san rafael. two suspects ages 16 and 17 who both attended novato high school were arrested thursday. another student who was shot and stabbed survived the attack.

deputies in saratoga have arrested the driver they say hit a woman and hurt her two dogs so badly they had to be universityize university ize -- euthanized. christopher isles facing felony hit-and-run charges. ann palmer provided this picture of her family and their labradors sadie and chudley. she was walking the dogs when a truck hit and dragged them last wednesday. she was holding on to the leash and fell to the ground. she was sent to the hospital with moderate injures. a heads-up if you plan to visit the golden gate bridge this long weekend. cars won't be able to park at the welcome center at golden gate bridge or vista point on the marin side. taxis and ride services will only be allowed to drop off passengers at vista point. the closure runs from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. today and again monday part of an ongoing effort to reduce traffic congestion in

afghanistan. the gold star's tribute wall was built here in the bay area by a local nonprofit. it's intended to comfort families who've lost loved ones. >> they're looking at this as probably the only memorial they'll ever see to memorialize their children's sacrifice. >> reporter: the traveling memorial pays tribute to more than 7,000 servicemen and women. it's on display at the lone tree cemetery through memorial day tomorrow. a bittersweet memorial day barbecue for neighbors of san francisco's fog hill market. abc 7 news was at green and kearny streets on telegraph hill as the corner store hosted a good-bye barbecue. it's likely the neighborhood market will close after nearly 20 years because of a $1400 rent hike. >> the rent went up to $5,000. we can not afford it and the landlord isn't backing off so we can not pay rent that much. >> reporter: the store owners

are still hoping for a last-minute reprieve. they hope to stay if a new landlord emerges by the end of this month and doesn't raise the rent. hot dog fans in new york got a special treat celebrating nathan's 100th anniversary yesterday. the original location of nathan's famous restaurant on coney island sold hot dogs for one nickel. hundreds of people showed up for a taste of history. nathan says it sells 500 billion hot dogs a year. some customers drove from as far away as north carolina, an eight hour drive, just to be there for the big hot dog day. is. bart maintenance work is again affecting train service between two east bay stations but relief is on the way. is bart says this will be the final weekend of track closures between the san he andro and bay fair stations. work is ahead of schedule. the line will reopen tomorrow at

3:00 p.m. ahead of game seven against o.k.c. at oracle arena. great, great weather, heat wave really coming our way. here's lisa. >> carolyn we had the sea breeze yesterday. not only do we have that today but this morning if you're close to the coast you're looking at the low clouds, feeling the breeze and we'll have it again because the low cloud deck is sbuding into the bay area right now. we have three mile visibility at the coast. you can see how cloudy it is and we're looking at clouds in southern california as well. so we'll get into partial clearing in the san mateo coest to the central coast. 55 in san jose as well as oakland. it's 54 half moon bay and 52 in morgan hill. here's san jose. you can see the clouds there. go sharks, yeah. we're looking at a sunny afternoon in the 80s here so just subtle differences further

away you are from the bay. you'll certainly notice the cooldown and you may not get much sun south of the golden gate bridge. 56 in concord, 56 in livermore and looking at low 50s in santa rosa. we are looking at nothing the coach, three mile visibility in the north bay but the cooler start, three to four degrees cooler from the city to novato. five degrees cooler in san jose. it won't be an all day event. we'll see clearing from marin further south later in the day and warmer for everyone tomorrow for memorial day and we have a warm stretch ahead. so cooler in santa cruz. low 60s ocean beach with sunshine half moon bay 60. it will take towards the afternoon but you should see sun as well. monterey is clear right now, 63.

here's the holiday back into the low to mid-90s in our inland east bay and the 90s arriving in clear lake upper 80s in san jose redwood city. so tuesday is even warner. wednesday we're cooling back but after that we're warming up. let's start with today and look at the warm summer lime temperatures in the south bay. look for upper 80s. here's the low cloud deck half moon bay. 28 in redwood city and palo alto. mountain view looking at cooling. in the city today it will be sunny. 81 c upper 70s towards the east bay shoreline from hayward to san leandro. low 90s in antioch and if you are headed to napa it will be warm, is mid-80s by 2:00.

he held a rally in bakersfield last night after events in san tan barbara and santa maria earlier in the day. hillary clinton had no campaign events in california yesterday but five current and former mayors from across the country stumped for her in the bay area. with just 11 days until the june 7 primary all eyes are on california. >> reporter: bernie sanders in california the only candidate on the campaign trail this holiday weekend. >> what is most important to my mind is that we have the strongest democratic candidate throughout who, in fact, will not only defeat mr. trump but will demolish mr. trump. >> reporter: but sanders wasn't the only one talking or, in donald trump's case, tweeting. overnight, the likely republican nominee addressing this. protests erupting outside his friday night speech in san

new details about the death of a new orleans pelican player. bryce dejean-jones was fatally shot after breaking down the door of a dallas apartment yesterday morning. mr. us say jones went to look for his girlfriends around 3:00 a.m. but ended up at the wrong apartment kicking in the door. the man woke up and called out to him but after getting no response police say the man fired his gun. jones collapse and died later at the hospital. he was 23 years old. a four-year-old boy came face to face with a 400 pound gorilla after falling into his enclosure at the cincinnati zoo yesterday afternoon. security guards killed this male gorilla saying tranquilizing him would be too risky for the little boy. zoo officials say the child crawled through a barrier and fell 10 to 12 feet into the gorilla moat. he was picked up and carried around by the gorilla for about

10 minutes. a cincinnati zoo employee shot the gorilla when the child was in between his legs and zoo employees unlocked the gate and two firefighters quickly retrieved the child. >> sad day all the way around, the right choice was made. it was a difficult choice. we have protocols and procedures. we do drills with our dangerous animal response team. >> the little boy is expected to survive. he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. a man in washington state the talking about how he survived falling down two waterfalls. josh richert dropped 70 feet after slipping on a rock in olympia national park. as he was falling he hit a rock and his feet shattered. after the fall he somehow managed to women to the side of the river. it took nine and a half hours for rescuers to get to him. the hike jer just got out of the hospital. he has casts on both his legs.

when asked what he was thinking, he says it's a miracle he didn't die. >> i guess that's the closest thing i could be thinking at that point is you better just live. >> reporter: richert said he knew he was stuck on the rock and needed rescuing. he says he thinks he fell because he was trying to get himself out instead of waiting for rescuers to come to get him. more than 200 scientists and doctors want to move or delay the summer olympics. concerns over the spread of the zika virus prompted them to send a letter to the world health organization claiming the virus is an unnecessary troichblg the half million tourists expected to come to brazil. the who has urged pregnant women to avoid travel there but says the games should continue. >> a lot of people going to rio have the potential to bring the disease all over the world if they get infected. >> i don't know anyone who has the zika virus and a know a lot

morning cooling. it doesn't look like it will translate into much cooling but around the bay, at the shoreline we'll get the sea breeze. this won't stick around all day. the golden gate bridge showing low clouds. it will pull back from the coastline first and 60s return. low clouds at the coast, partial afternoon clearing at beaches. it will be slower to clear half moon byay but warmer and drier air tomorrow. the day after looks warmer on tuesday. statewide, though, the thunderstorms have moved out of the picture in the sierra nevada. a few isolated ones. more clouds along the coast and southern california 71 in los angeles. it will get warmer but its has been kind of cloudy and cool so as we look at local beaches, upper 60s, cooler today in santa cruz, low 60s from bodega by a to ocean beach. tomorrow we're warming up.

mid-90s to low 90s are back. the on shore push will decrease. we won't see fog. maybe a few patches but 83 in redwood city and as we go into tuesday even warmer with mid-80s on the peninsula, 90s arrive in san jose and mid-90s in the inland valley. wednesday' sea breeze is back, but it's temporary, we'll warm back up by the end of the week. san jose was 87 yesterday, today mid-80s and by the end of the week it's hotter as a stronger ridge of high pressure builds in. 97 for friday. around the bay, look for highs comfortable at our beaches, gray to start. east bay cooler, 74 in oakland. 79 fremont. warmer on tuesday. slightly cooler wednesday and thursday, watch out friday.

physical objects and they found the device to make it possible. this mirror from a by a area start up called ozmo. we've covered ozmo since 2013, first word and shape games all and then a drawing game. the team showed ozmo their idea and ozmo offered them jobs. >> it's an awe in spieling because a lot of research projects start and end in the lab. >> reporter: but the designers say they can't take all the credit. the most important people wrl the kids who tested their design. without them the game could have looked different. >> the character started off as a robot and we went through a couple of iterations on types of robots. >> reporter: turns out the kids liked aubie. >> usable and round and friending and coachable. >> reporter: the coding became a team sport. >> we've seen three kids centered around ipads. >> with blocks for loops and if statements, it's not teaching a program language. >> it's a way of thinking and problem solving and it goes so
