the bay area. here's meteorologist frances dinglasan, she's in for lisa argen. hi, frances. >> good morning. blue skies over most of the bay area. we will see some passing high clouds. that's about it. i need to show you this gorgeous shot from the exploratorium. we have some clear skies over the bay. winds light right now. they will pick up this afternoon. it's currently 53 degrees in san francisco. oakland at 51. mountain view and san jose at 5. cool in some of the valleys like morgan hill at 48. half moon bay is one of the coolest spots at 43 degrees. from the east bay we are looking out toward the bay bridge and san francisco. we also had some cool numbers in santa rosa and napa currently 5. novato 48. fairfield 49 and concord milder, 53 degrees. from the top of mt. tam we see a little bit of a breeze right now there. is a red flag warning in effect for some of the north bay mountains. i will tell you more about that in a little bit. for today you can look forward to a very warm afternoon inland into the low 90s today around

the bay. 70s and 80s, mild to warm. have the sun glasses and sunscreen handy. i'll have the complete accuweather forecasts coming up. chris. >> thank you. breaking news out of florida where officials are investigating a shooting that left a young singer dead. 22-year-old kristina grimmy was a final list on "the voice." this is video of her performing in orlando last night a suspect armed with two guns walked up and shot her while she was signing autographs after the show. officers say the suspect fatally shot himself after grimmy's brother tackled him. police have not said why the singer was attacked. the warriors are one game away from back-to-back titles. splash brothers led the comeback after a 30-point loss in game three. they are looking to make an nebraska record with 33 three-pointers. steph curry and klay thompson stepped up and scored a combined

63 points. the warriors won 108-97 and take a three games to one lead over the cavs. this was the cavs first home loss this postseason. abc7 news reporter amy hollifield was in cleveland after game four. she spoke last night. >> reporter: warriors fans said they never doubted their team would rebound and grab a victory on cleveland's home court. >> they usually had terrible game threes throughout the playoffs so we kind of expected that. >> steph curry had full support of his family in the stands tonight with his dad saying before the game that his son was ready. >> he's confident, he feels good. he told me he would try to be more aggressive early in the game with his shot. >> cavs fans did what they could with their home-court advantage. even waving giant heads of presidential candidates behind the baskets when the warriors were shooting free throws. >> if you are making a free throw and you see donald trump, you miss, you go, oh, my god!

about. >> we have developing news out of new york. one person is dead after a hot-air balloon accident in the town of nunde. it happened last night around 9:00 as the balloon landed in a field. all the passengers got out as the crew held the balloon down.

in store for us saturday. increased fire danger and much cooler temperatures next week. keep that in mind because this warmup will be short-lived. here's the forecast animation with the clouds moving through the bay area. but by this afternoon with high pressure in place, temperatures will be in the low 90s inland. that's where it will be warm. and also around the bay some 80s. still 60s at the coast and comfortable there with each a lot of sunshine. highs to the in the south bay. 83 san jose. morgan hill 86 and gilroy quite warm at 88 degrees. milpitas 80 today. menlo park 82. breezy at the coast with 64 in pacifica and 66 half moon bay and 72 in millbrae, as well as in south san francisco. downtown san francisco up to 70 this afternoon. look for mid-to low 80s for petaluma, sonoma and napa with a lot of sunshine and clear skies. we also have some very comfortable numbers in the east bay. 77 in berkeley. hayward and newark will hit 80

this afternoon. the warmest locations will be inland with with the high clouds this afternoon. we will still climb into the low 90s. antioch 90. brentwood 91. concord 88 and pleasanton 86 degrees. a lot of graduation ceremonies are going on. congratulations to hercules high school huitains. graduation tonight at 6:00 p.m. it will be comfortable with a lot of sunshine. after the sun sets, it will be dropping down into the upper 60s by the end of the ceremony. with clear skies we could see patchy low clouds and fog along the coast. that's about it. but most will be in the low 60s with san francisco at 55, fremont at 56, as well as in san jose. here's a look at the week ahead. you can get ready. this warmup, not going to last. the average high in san jose is 79. today will be at 83 and notice temperatures start dropping tomorrow and drop all the way

the rape culture which she said is a wig problem on campus. >> i think it shows how many graduating students are supportive of the idea to stand together when it comes to sexual assault. >> one took out an ad in the newspaper. it congratulates the class of 2016 and then asks the community to stand up against the rape culture. >> there will be an overhead banner flying across during the ceremony. and petition organizers collected 1 million signatures demanding his removal, giving him a light sentence for his crime, just six months. >> it's a high bar for this commission to remove a sitting judge. it really has to be misconduct. and here you've got a judge who imposed a sentence that may have well have been the wrong sentence to impose, but it's a sentence that the probation department itself recommended. >> at stanford, abc7 news a

a lock-down at an army base on the central coast was lifted after reports of an active shooter turned out to be false. they were on lockdown for 3 1/2 hours. someone heard the gunfire from soldiers involving a training exercise, called 911, thinking there was an active shooter on base. students at a community college in oregon held their first graduation ceremony since the deadly shooting there last year. a gunman opened fire and killed seven people at the college in october. much of yesterday's ceremony was filled with serious notes about that day. but the speaker focused on the students and how they came together after the shooting. more than 400 students graduated this year from the college. >> three team have been arrested on suspicion of running a

fentanyl manufacturing operation out of their apartment. fentanyl is 20 times more powerful than heroin, and it's the same substance that killed prince. the suspects in san francisco used it to create fake oxycodone pills that were sold in person and online. about a dozen people have died from fentanyl in fourth northern california this year >> now to an update about a story thursday night about a dog stolen at gunpoint from a 14-year-old boy. it was in san leandro. the sheppard has been found and reunited with her owners. an alert citizen is credited with the rescue. surveillance video captured two men taking the three-month-old dog. police say no arrests have been made. but police said more information will be released later this morning. >> the warriors have a chance to win their second straight nba title in front of dubs nation on

monday. the dubs arrive back home at 4:00 this morning. this is video spent -- sent to us by the warriors. golden state now has the three games to one lead over cleveland and the odds are in the warriors favor. no team as ever come back after being down 3-1 in the finals. the warriors were well-represented in cleveland last night. steph curry's fans were behind the bench. they were supporting royal blue and gold behind here. the warriors took control of the game in the fourth quarter. and despite being an away game, oracle arena was rocking. abc7 news was there as fans cheered on the dubs. the party got a little out of control outside after the game ended. police had to contain about a dozen fans. hundreds of fans celebrated outside city hall where a special watch party was being

passing by throughout this morning and the afternoon. plenty of sunshine with temperatures warming up into the low 90s in our warmest location. 70s and 80s around bait and still 60s and mild at the coast. the high today in san jose will be 83. gilroy getting up to 88 and cupertino 83 degrees, as well. look for 82 in redwood city. breezy at the coast with 64 in pacifica. millbrae 72. downtown san francisco warming up to 70 today with plenty of sunshine, as well. and in the north bay areas, mild and warm with 83 in petaluma. mid-80s through sonoma and napa. 81 vallejo. look for comfortable numbers through berkeley, it's 77. san leandro 79 and low 80s as you head further south. warm locations, the warmest will be antioch and brentwood, low 90s there. 88 con ford. pleasanton 86. quite pleasant, as well. a lot of graduations happening today.

and congratulations to the folks in union city from james logan high school. at 9:00 this morning temperatures will already be around 64 degrees. sunny and mild for the ceremony. by the time it ends at 73 it will be perfect whether for graduation lunches. also if you are heading to the giants game this afternoon have your hat, sun glass, sunscreen and stay hydrated with the temperatures. things had start to cool down to 66 by 7:15 in the evening. lows tonight also on the mild side with clear conditions except for some patchy low fog and some clouds along the coast. 52 half moon bay and even 60 antioch and san jose at 56 degrees. mild in san francisco. overnight low about 55. here's the accuweather seven-day forecast. we do have this warm afternoon but notice it's short-lived because things start to cool down on sunday. still comfortable, as well, tomorrow. but temperatures will be dropping all the way through the middle of the work week where we will be below average.
