witnesses say the construction worker exchanged words with a woman who then pulled out a night. a typical co-worker said it was a typical work day until the violence happened. >> she was fine. >> man who was seen hiding behind a car was also arrested. neighbors say they found a 6-inch knife inside the female's waistband. the department tweeted out these pictures of the men. they hope someone will recognize them and give please a call. police have arrested eight other people in connection with the video nine days ago outside the convention center. they're still looking for for other suspects. residents of southern california were jolted awake by a moderate earthquake. the magnitude 5.2 had an epicenter northeast of san diego. it hit at around 1:00 a.m.

air balloon accident in none day. it happened around 9:00 as the balloon landed in a field. all the passengers got out as passengers held the balloon down. for some reason it began rising and one of the crew members became caught if the boon. the balloon lifted and he fell 100 feet. the accident is under investigation. in southern california the ntsb is investigating the cause of a single engine plane that killed two people. the plane crashed yesterday afternoon into a two-story townhouse in the city of hawthorne in los angeles county. both of the victims were on the plane. the crash started a fire, but fire crews were able to put it out quickly. hawthorne is located just south of l.a.x. airplane. cell phone video shows people scattering when gunshots fired outside dallas's love field airport.

are cooler at 55 degrees. from mt. tam you see a bit of a breeze from the mountaintops and we're looking south toward san francisco in the background. so we have a sunny and warmer day today. it's going to feel very much lime summer. there is increased fire danger. get ready. it's going to be much cooler next week. we have gusty winds at 35 miles an hour. combined with relatively low humidity, we see an increased fire danger. that expires tomorrow at noon. also we'll check out the forecast animation showing you the high clouds passing through into the afternoon hours, but lots of sunshine with some low 90s inland and 60s at the coast. it's going to be warm overall along the bay. the numbers will be 83. in sunnyvale, 81.
