aspects of it. >> tomorrow, both president obama and vice president biden will travel to meet with the families of those killed and wounded in sunday's attack. of the 53, 6 people remain in critical condition. 49 people killed inside pulse nightclub when a gunman opened fire. and investigators continue to question the shooter's wife noor mateen. they met on facebook and married in herbing keel ease -- hercules. there is no word on what took place inside of the house. 49 people died in the shooting and we're learning about one victim's final act to keep his partner out of harm's way. eddie sotomyer is on the left

and he would not survive. >> reporter: he was 34 years old and couldn't have known he'd become a face of the nightclub massacre. those who knew him told us about his final moments and what he would want to you remember. he texted this snap chat video from inside pulse nightclub. he's on the left. his partner, louis on the right. 23 minutes later the shootings started. he texted a video to al ferguson the owner of the travel agency he worked for. >> i believe eddie saved his partner's life but not allowing him to come back into the nightclub. >> he says eddie was in the club, but louis had gone outside. the shooting started eddie texted louis to stay away. >> that was the last time his partner heard from him.

a witness shot this video moments after a shooting claimed a young girl's life. she was taking part in a vigil near downtown oakland. >> they were having fun then, all of a sudden gunshots. >> she was hit in the upper torso. >> i saw her down. >> bullets blew out glass in a restaurant across the street. she and other young people had come from a funeral for two teens. a 15-year-old jamari wilson and 15-year-old that drowned in a reservoir over memorial day. pastor kevin hope presided over the service. >> young people have been de

alligator last night. >> this evening we received this photo of little lane graves. the 2-year-old and his family were visiting orlando from nebraska. >> reporter: tragedy at walt disneyworld. a family from nebraska on the third day of vacation, involved in a horrific accident. >> there is likely no question in my mind that the child was drowned by the alligator. >> the orange county sheriff says the attack happened along the sandy shores of the sandy seas lagoon around 9:15 last night. the 2-year-old was playing along the water's edge when an alligator locked it's jaws around him and pulled the toddler underwater. >> disney operated here 45 years and never had this thing happen

before. remember, this is florida and alligators are indigenous to this region of the country. >> the question was asked about possibly installing fences around the lakes. >> it couldn't be effective. alligators can move underwater. >> now, an effort to make sure the alligator that attacked the child is tracked down. the florida fish and wildlife commission says five alligators have been found and euthanized. >> we're going to verify we've captured that alligator through forensic work or continue to look for him until we find the right one. >> questions are being asked whether enough is being done to protect guests. yes, there are signs telling people not to go swimming but there is no mention of the threat of alligators.

animal rights advocates are advocating change in china. they want california lawmakers to push for an end to the dog and cat meat trade. governor brown signed an agreement making it part of california's international sister states. activists are calling on the governor to urge a ban on dog and cat meat sales.
