cleveland is the city of champions once again. >> heartbreak after history. the warriors and dub nation reeling after losing a hard-fought game seven. i'm eric thomas. it is a sight no one wanted to see, dubs fans bolting from oracle arena in defeat. based on three and a half quarters of basketball, but the last four minutes were painful. larry beil is live. a toughened to a record-setting season. >> a painful in the last few minutes was perfect. it ends in disappointment as the warriors lose game seven of the nba finals to the cleveland cavaliers. the warriors were the best team in the -- were the best offensive team in the nba and they could not score in the last four minutes and that was the difference. which mvp would rein and the answer is lebron james.

you will see some special moments. he came into the locker room and then he came back and lebron said he wanted to talk to him and he had a great hug. here are two guys that went after each other like junkyard dogs throughout the series. draymond wears number 23 because he looked up to lebron in his day. afterwards draymond was very frustrated with the finish of their season. >> i mean, it sucks. obvious lea we hate to lose -- obviously we hate to lose and we would like to be raining champagne on each other. >> once we go to a game seven i was confident and i knew my guys would allow me to lead them and they did that. >> the better team won. it was a phenomenal game.

cavs followers. sergio shows us. >> reporter: for warrior fanses this was a stomach churning game that ended with a thud. >> i am bummed. i am really sad. i am shocked. waiting for the fanfare that is not going to happen for us. >> i was nervous and having an anxiety attack. >> at the end of the game the house full of yellow and blue shirts cooperate wait to leave. this is a bitter loss for a team known for pushing hard to the end and breaking through with the win. but tonight it was the cleveland cavaliers who kept on pushing and even warrior fans acknowledged the push to victory. >> it was a big win for them. hopefully we will get the next one. >> this is not the first time the cleveland cavaliers have won -- this is the first time the cleveland cavaliers have won in franchise history.

heartbreaking loss. you are looking at david nunez and his grandson taking in game seven at oracle arena. they attended many games together, but justin collapsed and died after leaving oracle after game five on monday. the tragedy took a son from david and a dad from kioni. >> i heard about it and burst into tears and ran into my room. >> they need to value their family and treasure their children of the i never thought this would happen, and it did. squeeze your children tight and love them for all they're worth. >> justin nunez shared his love of sports with his son and they enjoyed traveling to different sporting events around the country. the warriors and dubs fans have a lot to be proud of. you can share your story with # thanks for a historic season. you can share it on our facebook page. the warriors tweeted this photo signed by the entire team thanking dub

captured the first message of trouble after a small twin-engine plane crashed that a bart maintenance yard in hayward and caught fire. the pilot was killed. leslie brinkley has the story. >> reporter: the piper twin-engine plane crashed into this bart maintenance yard four miles shy of the hayward airport. witnesses saw the plane hover and veer away from a neighborhood before dropping from the sky. this man jumped a fence into the bart property and ran to the crash site to try to help the pilot. >> he was completely trapped. his legs were pinned against the cockpit of the plane itself. >> reporter: he held the pilot's hand. >> he was screaming out, please help. last words were please help. >> reporter: then the plane wassen gulfed in flames. hayward fire quickly showed up and put the fire out. the pilot died. no one on the ground was injured. after the crash all bart service south of the station ground to a halt for two hours as bart assessed safety.

service resumed but the car wash station was destroyed. the ntsb is now in charge into the investigation of the cause of the crash. leslie brinkley, abc7 news. right now police are on the lookout of two suspected it burglars after chasing them from the north bay to san francisco. officers are seen chasing a u-haul about 10:30. they followed the driver into the south of market and lost sight. a driver and passenger are believed responsible for burglaries in petaluma. investigators are trying to pinpoint the cause of yesterday's devastating five-alarm fire in the outer mission. the fire gutted six buildings on mission street between 29th and 30th. it left 58 people homeless. several businesses were dooy void including a hardware store. firefighters stayed on the scene all night spraying the charred rubble of buildings with water to put out hotspots that were still burning 24 hours later. the cause is a mystery. >> when it is unsafe we will

not go in there. they are doing a lot of investigations to find out what the floor plan looked like originally and what people were doing just before the fire. many of the streets reopened including busy mission street. the fire department will meet with residents at 8:00 in the morning so they can recover belongings. a search effort will resume tomorrow for a boater who went over board this around. witnesses tell abc7 news that the man was in his mid20s and apparently did not know how to swim. he was on a rented boat with other friends when he went into the water. others trade to save him, but they couldn't. none of the men on the boat were wearing life vests. rescuers suspended the search and they will return to the lake after sun rides tomorrow. there is dramatic new video of a wildfire that is continuing to burn out of control in santa barbara county. the sherpa fire has charred at least 7,000 ache aers. as of this evening it is 45% contained. fire officialses are worried
