first look at weather. >> that fire danger will be increasing. we have a sea breeze, but that's going to change. live doppler 7 hd showing you clear skies, setting the stage for what is to come. a northerly wind will drop the humidity around salano county, red flag going up tonight, and running until 6:00 p.m. saturday, increase in the fire danger, gusty winds and low humidity combined. we head into monday and we have a heat alert, so plan accordingly. prepare to stay cool, hydrated. upper 90s, low 100s, coastal areas will remain in the 60s. hotter inland on tuesday. triple digits coming up. as we head to the weekend, i'll let you know what you can expect before we get to monday/tuesday time period. sandy, thank you so much. u.s. financial markets sank today that britain voted to leave the european union.

the dow fell 3.4%, nasdaq, 4%, s&p, 3.5%. despite the fall, analysts do not believe britain's move will lead to a u.s. recession. bay area companies are feeling the fall jot today. google, 4.5%. facebook, loss 2 points 5, netflix, 3.5, and twillio, 8.5%. of crse, the eu is a huge trading partner, and they were all hoping it would go the other way. tiffany wilson looks at the possible fallout for silicon valley. >> reporter: the vote across the pond is sparking conversation and some consternation in menlo park. >> oh, my gosh. i think it is -- i think it's pretty scary. >> more or less their business and their problems are just beginning, because the vote is

the easy part. >> reporter: the hard part is how brexit will play out. the startups aren't sure how to react. >> certainly concerns for a number of the startup companies for the area. >> his company, glimpse does business in the uk. >> i have my united kingdom customers buying from my west coast business as usual. >> he thinks in the long-term, inner workings will have little impact on his company's bottom line. >> i have companies today doing business in the united kingdom this week and i think they'll be doing business in germany, uk, despite the policies. >> reporter: morgan stanley financial advisor we spoke with today is also confident the valley's top tech companies will ride out the political changes overseas. >> here in silicon valley, it is a booming, innovative place where i think companies will continue to innovative regardless of what's going on in the european union. >> reporter: one complication that could arise for silicon

valley startups is if the uk passes different rules that apply to the eu and the united states. in menlo park, tiffany wilson, abc 7 news. while business leaders are concerned about the united kingdom leaving the european union, most brits are celebrating the vote. >> british people have spoken and the answer is we're out. >> they're giving lots of reasons for wanting to leave the eu, from wanting more self-rule, to concerns about immigration. one bright spot it is now cheaper to travel to england and the rest of europe, with the dollar gaining strength. president obama says the brexit vote won't change america's relationship with britain. >> i do think that yesterday's vote speaks to the ongoing changes and challenges that are raised by globalization. but while the uk's relationship with the eu will change, one thing that will not change is the special relationship that exists between our two nations.

control. reporter from our sister station kabc joins us live near the fire lines. leo. >> reporter: the devil and this fire fight is wind, gusty conditions, firefighters are having a tough time trying to keep up with the blaze because of the windy conditions out here, just on the other side of the mountain, you see lake isabella right there, that's where the fire fight is. this fire, thus far, has proven to be deadly. the fire is deadly. the quick moving plays, aided by fierce wind, raised through this home, engulfing it killing an elderly couple inside. a neighbor captured this cell phone video of the tragedy. it started around 4:00 yesterday. destroying 80 homes and structures. >> i told her to take her little dog and go. li evide . i left my two big dogs. i hope they made it out. >> some homes looking like an

inferno. hundreds forced to evacuate neighborhoods. >> i wasn't concerned about my life. i had my family there, and we were ready to move out. the property, i thought it would be gone. it is a blessing it is standing this morning. >> reporter: 600 firefighters battling the blaze and hoping to get more resources soon. fire crews are attacking the fire from the air, with water and retardant. >> the fire just came rushing across, and we had to get out. you could tell by the forest here, it hasn't burned in ages zrchl. >> reporter: along with wind, dry and brittle from years of drought. the rapidly moving fire, torching more than 19,000 acres, and even now, threatening well over 1,000 structures. >> when it came down the canyon here, which is really deep timber, it was raging. it kind of fanned out. >> reporter: the 600 firefighters battling this blaze, obviously exhausted,

san ravel, south bay, blessing ton and all the bay area, this is abc 7 news. president obama took off for mountain view this afternoon, after speaking at stanford today. he is now in seattle, for two fund-raisers. earlier, the president designated the stonewall in as the country's first national monument to lgbt rights. the new york city monument, in 1969, the place raided the inn and patrons fought back. it was a protest for a week and sparked the lgbt movement. it will be added to the national parks system. the pentagon says it will

name and where you live. >> i'm claudia, and i live in san jose california. >> your question is? >> i had a dui in 2010, a misdemeanor dui, which i, you know, later got cleared up in 2013, i got it dismissed and expunged. i'm concerned, because i want to go on a cruise, which stops in canada, and i want -- don't want there to be any problems with me being able to get on the cruise, because i understand canada has problems with -- >> yeah, i'm so glad you're asking me this question. if you had a dui, even when you were a kid, canada is half crazy about it. they do not want you coming up to their country. they've got very specific rules. now, since yours was expunged, it should not be an issue at all. however, i don't want to send you up there without knowing positive sure. so here is what i'm going do.

to soar. inland, you'll feel the heat for the next several days. clear skies, right now on the radar. we don't have any clouds to speak of. it will remain that way through the night. we do have a beach hazard statement, large rip currents, just in case you decide to head to the coast it escape the heat, be careful. from the cameras, sunny skies over san francisco, 63, 71 in oakland, 70s in san jose, live look from the east bay hills camera, see a little haze there. 89 in santa rosa, napa, 81, concord, 87, livermore, 85. lovely view from the golden gate bridge camera. a look at the forecast. warming up this weekend, a heat alert, and that really means you have to plan on trying to figure out a way to stay cool. don't forget about your pets. your kids, elderly. those who are sensitive to the heat. you want to plan.

turning toasty inland during the time period, so here is a look what will happen tomorrow morning. starts out clear mild, low 60s, but quickly we'll start to see the temperatures rising. micro climb is 67, half-moon bay, mild day there. 72 in strans, hot in walnut creek, 98 degrees in antioch. this is the place to go. santa cruz, the beach. ocean temperatures, 53 degrees. little fog on sunday, especially in the morning hours, bright sun shiep for monday, 80 degrees, but at least it won't be as hot as it will be inland. highs for saturday, 88 degrees in san jose, the warming trend gets underway. gilr gilroy, 89, 79 in santa cruz, mid 80s, palo alto, half-moon

bay, pacifica, downtown san francisco, 82 in santa rosa, in the east bay, kind of weather where you need the sunscreen and a hat. 79 degrees if oakland. 83 in fremont, castro valley, inland, it will get hot, 98 wallnut creek. now, this is a big weekend, san francisco pride parade, obviously sunday. there will be patchy fog but quite mild at 10:00 a.m., 62 degrees, 1:00, still remaining mild, bright skies, and it gets breezy in the evening hours. still nice, 64 degrees for the pride parade on sunday, and the festivities going on. hotter inland, the next couple of days. we'll have the summer spread for summer, low 60s to upper 90s, so
