climbing up. santa rosa, napa, novato at 64 degrees and already below 70s toward fairfield, concord and livermore. we have high pressure that will push the clouds back and temperatures will be warming up again to near 100 inland. and guess what, carolyn. temperatures are going to keep climbing for the next few days. i'll have the details coming up. >> thank you, frances. we have breaking news out of san francisco this morning. crews are working on a one alarm warehouse near in the bayview district. the fire department tweeted these photos as they battled the flames. it started around 7:30 this morning off bay shore boulevard at a recycling center. firefighters contained the fire within a half-hour. no other business withs in that area are said to be at risk. no injuries have been reported. an estimated 1 million people will line market street for the san francisco pride parade, with i is described as the largest gathering of lbbt people in the nation.

cornell is live on market street. good morning. >> good morning, carolyn. happy pride. i have to tell you, it will be a great day for a parade. check it out. the barricades are up along market street. street closers in place. as you see, dikes on bikes getting ready to lead the parade like they do every year, as you see on the windshield there. orlando is on the minds of many this weekend. now record crowds could turn out for this year's pride. it's already one of the largest pride parades in the country, perhaps the world. hundreds of floats will be rolling down market street, and because of the orlando massacre, a large police presence will also be here. also at pride fest at civic center. critics say it's just too much. some groups like black lives matter pulled out because of it. others say they like the added protection. and this year many say it's about celebration and remembrance. >> you know, i think orlando is

going to be the second most popular word compared to pride. >> our friend has been in the city for five years and he let us know it was a really big deal, things would be happening. you don't usually see large gatherings of people but for this occasion it's been very different. i wanted to check it out. it's been nothing but a blessing. it's been very cool. >> pride fest continues at civic center today. for the first time there's a security screening in place. if you are coming to the parade, take public transportation. bart, muni, caltrain, ferries, anything you can because bringing your car could be a pretty big bumper. parking is going to be very tough. there's lots of street closers. and have fun. its going to be a great day here in san francisco. we are live along market treatment cornell barnard, abc7 news. >> it's going to be a great day. thank you, cornell. ♪ >> abc7 news was atop

san francisco's twin peaks as a band played during ceremonies for the installation of the pink triangle. the triangle scores one achier and it stretches 200 feet from top 20 bottom. pink triangle symbolizes the badges the nazis forced homosexuals to wear during world war ii during the holocaust. it's now a symbol of gay rights. lots of streets closers as cornell mentioned for the pride sell celebration. area around civic center will be closed today and market street from beale to eighth will be closed for the pride parade. muni is asking people to take public transportation and the agency will reroute buses away from the closers. bart is running extra trains this morning. we have developing news out of the south bay. at least one person is dead after an accidents on highway 101 he is northbound i-280

connector in san jose. it happened around 4:45 this morning. one car is blocking one lane on southbound 101. the chp, of course, is out there investigating the accident and drivers are being asked to stay out of the area. we have developing news out of the east bay this morning. police have arrested a carjacker after a car chase ended in san leandro. it happened just before 11:00 last night. in this twitter video you can see an s.u.v. with flashing lights on fire on i-580 near the high street exit. our media partner, the east bay times, reports an oakland police officer swerved into a pole to avoid hitting another vehicle, causing the s.u.v. to catch fire. the officer was taken to the hospital and has been released. a home is destroyed, several others are damaged, in a fast-moving four-alarm fire that also scorched an east bay trial. that fire caused $650,000 in

damage to at least five homes. lisa amin gulezian has the story. >> the problems became more complex when the wind and grass ran the fire from here down to deer valley road. >> it was devastating. it blew poof in a matter of two minutes and then it was gone. and then this house top t took over the whole hill. >> the hillside burned fast. they attacked it from the contra costa canal below and homeowners on the top of the hill hosed down their decks. >> very scary because everything is dry in the back. we have a little wind going on. its very hot outside. it puts a lot of houses at risk. >> her house was closest to the ignition site.

first it went across her backyard and quickly came in the backyard. >> i saw the burning and grabbed my daughter and went out of the front door. >> two of the three cats were found safe. firefighters were able to salvage a few things, like photo albums, and things that belonged to her late husband. >> it's hard watching my home go up in smoke. >> meanwhile the fire threatened those who lived more than a block away from where it all started. the firefighters moved fast to get those people out of their homes just in case. while the fire is considered accidental, the homeowner whose cigarette started the fire could face charges for negligence and reckless endangerment. in antioch, lisa amin gulezian, abc7 news. as crews were responding to the fire, they found a marijuana grow operation in a house a couple doors down. antioch police officers discovered 800 pot plants at the home as they were going door to door investigating the cause of the fire. they seized the plants worth more than $1 million in street value. two people have been arrested.

the pot growing operation had nothing to do with the fire on on top of the fire, contra costa county crews had their hands full with the 40-acre grass fire. it was near highway 4. it broke out at willow pass about an hour behalf the antioch incident. crews were able to put out the fire with the help of two air tankers and a cal fire helicopter. firefighters say it could have been much worse. >> it easily could have come down and took the freeway and we would be chasing it over the hill over there. or got up this way and got into other stuff, a communication tower. it could have been significantly worse. >> the fire was contained in about an hour. cal fire stayed on scene overnight looking for hotspots. no injuries reported. high fire danger this week with the really hot temperatures. >> temperatures will be warm. the breeze will pick up a little

and with the winds we have a monster out there. >> unfortunately this is a situation where mother nature you are and a spark collided at the wrong time. >> california's biggest fire, scorching more than 35,000 acres and destroying a more than estimated 150 homes. those evacuated said they will have no idea what they will come home to. >> you feel homeless and helpless. >> others who barely made it out alive, like randy, who had to hitchhike to safety. overnight she found out her home burned down. >> losing a house at age 29 is hard. >> through the tears, she is finding hope, knowing she made it out alive. not everyone was so lucky. stearns county officials saying new remains have been found in the ashes, but they can't confirm they are human. at least five other fires burning in the golden state

marzullo has the story from san ramon. ♪ ♪ >> ten-year-old connor is on his way to play at carnegie hall. ♪ >> it will be his fifth performance there. but his first time on the main stage. >> i wanted somebody that was blindfolded then and they will not say it he didn't do it for his age and somebody will say he is like arthur rubenstein. he's not the least bit nervous. >> it's the big stage and the fun you have playing on it. >> his mom a scientist and his dad, an engineer, are nervous and also proud and excited. they have been nurturing his gift from the beginning. >> he was one-year-old when i noticed he's listening very carefully to my piece and waited until i finished and he would clap for me. >> when he was like three or four years old, he could play any music he would hear. >> at age 5 he composed his first piece.

>> here are the winning numbers from last night's $203 million powerball draw. no one picked all six numbers. wednesday night's jackpot grows to $222 million. thrill seekers can now ride a glass slide attached to the tallest building in the state. it's called the sky slide. it's mounted on the outside of the u.s. bank building in los angeles. the sky slide is 45 feet long and connects the 70th floor to the 69th at 1,000 feet high. the glass is just a little more than one inch thick looking down to all the traffic in the streets below. riders will have to shell out $33 just to glide down the slide. >> frances, some great selfies you could take there. >> i could. great day for outdoor activities. a pretty shot as we look toward
