ly from 80 and 580 and 880 and we have the meter lights on and 10 minutes waiting to get into san francisco. a new accident in hayward, southbound 880 possibly two separate citizens, and it looks like they are off the road on the shoulder and traffic is stacked to highway 238 southbound. we will check back and look at the bay bridge toll plaza in a few. >> a car crash involving a c.h.p. officer early this morning. jessica castro has the information. is everyone okay? >> we start by letting everyone know the officer is not hurt. we are getting now the information and incredible video from the scene. the footage came in minutes ago. this is the first time it is on air. it started as a high speed trace westbound on highway 580 and the c.h.p. unit crashed into multiple vehicles and a light pole in oakland.

the chase started this morning when the driver refused to stop. the car went over 100 miles per hour and hit a hydrant. it got off at foothill boulevard and only lasted eight minutes, by, obviously, a dramatic end with the c.h.p. officer crashing. a passenger spraying in at the officer but it does not seem to contribute to the crash. it is a bizarre detail that happened during the chase. we are jut getting the information on this chase. the driver got away and that person is still out there. and all that c.h.p. has to go on it was a four-door sedan so if you saw anything call police. >> thing is time this morning we have seen a hydrant hit in oakland. >> if you drive the golden gate bridge this will surprise you. your commute. cost you more starting tomorrow.
