isis has posted new images of the afghan teenager behind an attack on a afghan teenager behind a bloody attack on a german train. he was seeking asylum and went after passengers with an axe and knife injuring five people before police shot him dead. german officials have authenticated the images which show him pledging allegiance to isis and threatening more attacks. back here for the search for

a dallas police officer. police released this surveillance video of the moments before he was presumably swept away by floodwaters. mccullers disappeared while he was working in a security job. heavy rain swept across dallas as he made this 9-1-1 call. >> it's flooding. it's about to go in my car. >> okay. you're in your car? >> on its way. >> seven minutes after this call, floodwaters overtook the vehicle and he was swept away. the true crime documentary series "making a murderer" is coming back. netflix is bringing the series back to tv with the story of a wisconsin man, steven avery, who was convicted of killing a woman. new episodes will look at attempts by his lawyers to appeal avery's convictions. no word on when the new episodes will start or how many there will be. it was nominated for six emmy awards last week. now to the drama happening over at fox news over the sexual harassment news filed against roger ailes.

>> megyn kelly has been interviewed by investigators inside fox as other women join former anchor gretchen carlson in saying he made unwanted sexual advances toward them. rebecca jarvis has the latest. >> reporter: roger ailes, the head of fox news, in one of the most most powerful men in television reportedly facing new accusations and turmoil over the sexual harassment charges. "new york" magazine reporting the network's biggest star, megyn kelly, told investigators for 21st century fox, the parent company of fox news, that her boss, ailes, made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent. the first public allegation came earlier this month from gretchen carlson. the former miss america-turned-"fox and friends" anchor who filed a sexual harassment suit against ailes. tweeting this video today. >> i want to support all women who have been victims of sexual harassment. >> reporter: ailes has vigorously denied the claims.

through the convention. what other big moments should we expect on day three? >> reporter: so we'll hear from mike pence and donald trump will be back in cleveland to see his running mate formally accept the nomination. we'll also hear from another one of trump's children. eric trump will be giving a speech here. then two more of trump's former rivals will be speaking. we'll hear from ted cruz and we'll hear from marco rubio who you'll remember had that heated back-and-forth exchange of name nameca namecanam name-calling with donald trump. so it should be an interesting night here in cleveland. >> yeah. and as somebody who was watching it live on tv, it really looked like it was an emotional moment when the family all came together and they put donald trump over the top for the nomination. you were there in the hall. what was it like when it became official? >> reporter: yeah. most people in the crowd were cheering, and you could tell it was really emotional for the family. donald trump jr. said afterwards

you have to make it your own. >> i know you have now seen the comparisons side by side. melania's next to michelle obama's. >> a little bit. i've been busy today, but i've seen parts. >> reporter: snippets? >> yeah. >> reporter: what do you make of the striking similarities? >> i don't think there was anything that novel in terms of those lines. when she talks about immigration, her son, that was much more striking. >> reporter: you weren't bothered by striking similarities? >> there was no novel naught in n there, no. when you work with speechwriters, perhaps -- honestly, i was more concerned about and more proud of her about was to be able to get on that stage, having never done this before and to be able to deliver a speech with that much emotion and confidence. for me, 90% of this is about the delivery. >> reporter: i think a lot of people feel the delivery was spot on. she said she wrote the speech. >> she said she wrote as much as she could. again, for a speech of this magnitude, so to the say you're

not going to have a speechwriter, i'd have a hard time doing that and i speak daily. it's very different. >> reporter: who did write her speech? >> her? i don't know. >> does anyone in the campaign know? >> i don't know. i didn't go that far. >> reporter: because there are words like "plagiarism" out there. corey lewandowski said if paul manafort signed off on that speech, he should go. >> cory has said a lot of things. paul has done an incredible job. the family backs him. the level of organization and professionalism he's brought has been outstanding. >> reporter: there are reports out there that your father is furious about what's followed melania's speech. >> i think -- >> reporter: is he? >> i haven't spoken to him today. >> reporter: do you think a head should roll? should somebody be fired? >> i don't know if it has to do with speech and campaigns. obviously, a speech of that size and magnitude, you work with speechwriters.

i don't know that they should be involved going forward. >> reporter: do you suspect your father is angry that -- >> i'm sure he's not thrilled about the situation, but we're going to move on. >> we'll have more from cleveland on "america this morning" and "gma." >> and don't miss our special report at 10 p.m. eastern time tonight. you can catch a live stream on abcnews.com. we'll move on right now. another police officer killed in a line of duty. captain robert melton, a 17-year veteran of the kansas city, kansas, police department, shot and killed while searching for a suspect in a drive-by shooting. the alleged shooter is in custody along with another person suspected in the initial incident. melton is the second kansas city officer killed on the job this year. he served in afghanistan as part of the kansas army national guard. and president obama is telling the nation's law enforcement community, we have your backs. also in an open letter posted on line, the president said he fully supports police. in a meeting with his domestic security team the president said police departments need for support, including training for

active shooter events and money for bulletproof vests. meanwhile, health officials in florida are investigating a possible non-travel related case of zika the only confirmed cases so far have been people who traveled or were infected through sexual contact. but florida and southern states have been bracing for the possible local transmission of the disease through mosquito bites. turning to weather now. an official storm that blew through the mid-atlantic coast has left a mess. intense rain swamped the streets leaving cars stranded. the wind knocked down power lines leaving more than 100,000 customers without electricity. it was an especially tough night for the washington nationals. rain swamped the ballpark after they lost to the dodgers. as you can see in the video posted by a dodgers first base man, adrian gonzalez, there's a shot i saw on twitter where one guy was like,

another police officer killed in the line of duty. 46-year-old captain robert melton, a 17-year veteran of the kansas city police department, was shot and killed yesterday. the alleged shooter is in custody along with another initial person suspected in the shooting. melton is the second kansas city officer to be killed on the job this year. he served in afghanistan as part of the kansas army national guard. and the baton rouge, louisiana, officer most seriously injured remains in critical season. he has 18 years of service with the east baton rouge sheriff's office. across the baton rouge area last night, residents turned out to show their support for law enforcement. they also called for increased ties between police and the community. whiter, director, and actor, garry marshall passed away. he's best known "happy days" as well as spinoffs "laverne and shirley," starring his sister, penny marshall, as well as "mork and mindy."

he later moved to the big screen directing 18 films, including "pretty woman" starring julia roberts and richard gere. he died after suffering a stroke. he was 81 years old. the governor of new york says it's nothing short of a miracle that no one was killed when a construction crane crashed. four drivers received minor injuries trying to avoid the accident on the tappan zee bridge. but not one vehicle was actually hit in that collapse. while it created a traffic nightmare, most of the lanes of the bridge are already open. outside boston, a man lost control of his car hitting three members of family visiting from california. they suffered broken bones. they are also expected to recover. the 90-year-old driver was slightly injured. he doesn't remember much about the crash and is upset people were hurt. a texas man says he's too old to be going down water slides. and here's why. >> so here he is.

>> and marcy, security is obviously a big concern in cleveland. how do protesters keep making it inside the arena? >> reporter: yeah. i think they're probably being very discreet with bringing in their signs. they're making it in. there were a few protesters here last night. they were escorted out. they weren't that much of a disruption. as far as outside, there was the biggest crowds we've seen, protesting. different groups yelling at each other, but overall things have been peaceful. from what we heard there were no arrests last night. >> let's get back to the whole speechgate issue and the speech controversy. so i guess experts crunched the numbers about how likely it was that the speech wasn't plagiarized or was. what did they find? >> reporter: this is a group called turn it in. they track plagiarism. they found there is a greater than one in a zillion chance that two writers would write the same 23 word sequence
