that means they have pulled all the firefighters out of the building and they are just attacking it from the outside. they have launched a drone that a flying around overhead trying to get an idea of where this fire is moving as it has moved into the attic. in the last half hour this is milbrae community center on lincoln circle, the initial call came in around 4:00 a.m. and we arrived on the scene half an hour later and i can tell you the fire is only growing, despite the best effort of the firefighters. it is a four-alarm fire. we spoke with the fire chief about the challenges they are facing. >> the challenge we have working is a large volume fire above, and we do not want to put crews in jeopardy so that is our challenge, to limit the damage by getting it in below. >> a young man who has been inside this building before tells me that the fire appeared

to be in the kitchen area when he first arrived and right now it has spread all over the building. it is a windy day, however, it appears to be contained to the community center. this are apartments across the street, and the park view apartments are near and it could look scary from the winds they are not at risk and the park across the way, behind the community center and the house on other side of that, they not at risk. as we come back out here you can see fires with the hoses cross the road and that is providing a bit of a challenge new four some of the residents who are coming outside trying to get to the cars for work with so many fire trucks and hoses on the scene people are trapped where their cars are parked. >> thanks for joining us on morning news. i am matt keller. >> we will have more on the
