mandatory evacuations of the pal low colorado area. one structure is threaten. developing news out of southern california, a monster fire is burning just north of los angeles. it started yesterday around 2:15 in the afternoon. more than 200 homes are under a mandatory evacuation. one structure has been destroyed. some people have taken horses and other animals to an evacuation center. the fire exploded in size yesterday to more than 5500 acres because of triple digit temperatures and gusty winds. containment is at zero percent. we have breaking news out you have afghanistan where isis has claimed responsibility for a bombing that killed at least 61 people and injured 207 others. two isis fighters detonated their suicide belts during a protest march in the capital city of kabul. the protesters were demanding that a major regional electric power line can routed through their hope province. afghanistan is short of power

with less than 40% of the power connected to the national grid. new details in the shooting in munich, germany.police say the teenage gunman who killed nine people in a rampage at a shopping mall does not appear to have ties to terrorists. alex marquardt is in munich with the latest. >> reporter: german authorities this morning with new details on the man who opened fire at the shopping center on friday even. they now say all signs point to the german iranian who was born in munich as being the lone attacker who killed himself after murdering nine other. most of them teenagers. he was a student and the police say there's no evidence to connect him to isis or any other extremist group. this morning the police raiding the apartment where the teen is believed to have lived with his parents. in his room articles and a book about school shootings. just before 6:00 p.m. on friday outside a mcdonald's at the shopping center, he draws a pistol and starts firing seemingly randomly on

passers-by. then in another clip, the suspect paces the roof top of a parking garage and then raises his gun, appears to take aim and fire. >> people were running towards us. they were panicking. they were in shock. >> reporter: the city quickly put on lockdown as police sealed off the area around the shopping center. parents holding their children close. people told to keep their hands in the air as they were evacuated. shattered car windows and a body covered in a sheet as pair are medics arrived on the scene to treat the wounded. the city's public transportation system shut down. residents told to stay in homes because of fears there were three gunmen who had escaped. >> people were confused. nobody knew what was actually going on. >> reporter: this who are rick attack coming on the heels of another days ago in bavaria when a 17-year-old afghan stabbed passengers on a train with an ax and knife apparently inspired by

isis. and the least 84 dead in the bastille day attack in the french city of nice. a 31-year-old tunisian mowing people down in a trucking in an attack claimed by isis. back in munich, a fuller picture but the exact motive for what drove the attacker to kill so many in cold blood is still unclear. and that was alex marquardt reporting. a full flight to munich that took off last night is scheduled to land this morning. we spoke with passengers before takeoff. >> as passengers checked in for this flight to munich, there was a sense of uneasiness. >> it's a concern. i mean, it's been happening all over the world. >> i never thought what's happened so close to us like it happened in france before and everywhere. i would never think they would come to germany. >> jonas was waiting with his girlfriend who is flying back home to hanover but she will

news.com to find out more. time approaching:35. new details on the death of a man shot by oakland police last year. according to the east bay times, the daughter of richard perkins filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city of oakland yesterday. police officers shot and killed perkins near 90th and bancroft last november. the east bay times also reports in the lawsuit his dot said he had a toy pistol and tried to get rid of it before getting closer to police. the suit seeks unspecified daniels. the naacp is leading a peaceful protest in hayward in response to the recent killings of black men and police officers. organizers say the protest is meant to unify the people in the community and as an out jet for hem toe express tear feelings. it starts at the naacp office in hayward. there was a moving tribute for officers yesterday, not only
