live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. in in midday, take a look, clear as day security footage to a neighbor in pittsburg shows officers chasing the man in the house. the man was tazed. he later died. i am natasha zouves. kristen sze will be here later. there was a struggle with officers and an officer was bit. our reporter spoke with neighbors with the video you will only see here. >> i am told that a young girl witnessed the fight with officers inside the home. she told neighbors that the man turned blue. the video is now part of police

evidence in the investigation. >> they pulled up. he jumped out. he ran into the garage the they were behind him. cameras captured the end of a police chase and the moment before a man wanted on a drug-related war ran, dies in custody. the taser was deployed. prior to him being hand cuffed. and it was inof fox25ive. >> the 32-year-old martinez pulled away from the 42300 block of hill view drive and people tried to pull him over. an officer had a weapon drawn following had iminto the garage. the captain described three officers wrestling martinez in the kitchen of the house. an officer was bit on the hand. >> he was handcuffed the officers realize he was not responsive and all officers have a.e.d. in the car and we provided life saving measures. martinez later dade at the hospital.

neighbors say they do not anyone martinez made it that far and expressed a general mistrust. >> i feel bat bad about it, he was a good friend but you have to watch the cops. you have to watch them. >> we have a lot of independent evidence including body camera footage and independent witnesses that corroborate the statements of our officers. >> the contra costa county district attorney is also investigating. the three officers involved are on leave which is standard procedure involving an in-custody death and the coroner is working to determine the cause of death. we are in pittsburg for abc. >> a sad new development, one person has died in the wildfire that continued to burn near big sur. a bulldoze are operator was killed overnight while on the fire line in monterey county. the soberanes fire has scorched 24,000 acres and it is still going.

it is only 10 pass contained. the fire destroyed 20 homes since breaking out on friday and cal fires 2,000 are threatened. evacuees are take shelter at carmel middle school another fire and a state of emergency remains in affect for los angeles county, and the sand fire has been burning for a week now. it is now torn through 38,000 acres, and firefighters are making some progress, though, with the fire 40% contained. they have been able to push the fire line further into the hills of san class clarita away from the homes. >> we are just town the corner on this, and we had a large burnout operation up there, in the north aspect the fire. >> the residential evacuee orders have been lifted and the state of emergency helped with the resources such as state personnel and equipment are available to firefighters and helps the victims in processing unemployment insurance and other benefits. air quality concerns continue to

mid-80s and upper 80s to mid-90's in the south bay, and leg log and gilley at 100. mid-to-upper 80s on peninsula, but for hill bray in the my 70s and low-to-mid 60s along the coast, and look at downtown, south san francisco, and sausalito, low-to-mid 70s, but, upper 80s to mineta through the not bay, and of course you can see cloverdale and ukiah in the 100s and if you are going to know -- sonoma county fair just kick off. warm at 6:00, a breeze and 85 and back down to 65 by 9:00. along the east bay shore you can see the breeze in richmond at 76 and everyone else in the low-to-mid 80s and fremont is 88 and air conditioning ran all night, last night, and it will, again, tomorrow, with our east bay inland neighbor, although the temperatures are falling into the 60, in the south bay the rest of us in the 50s. my seven-day forecast, you will see the heat just barley letting go tomorrow, into friday, and we are final out of the 100 spules by saturday, and we are going to be out of 90 inaround by monday
